Congratulations to Sophie and Gary who got married at Weddings and Events at Cottiers on Friday! A great day with everyone in good spirits which included a large contingent of Shetlanders and Orcadians from the groom’s side bringing a lively Highlands and Islands atmosphere to Glasgow’s West End! Congratulations to Koren & Aaron who tied the knot on Wednesday at Enterkine Country House Resort in Ayrshire. A fantastic day from start to finish with highlights including an emotional first look with the bride and her dad, as well as an emotional first look when Aaron glimpsed his beautiful bride walking down the aisle.

Heavy rain fell not long after the ceremony however we managed to get the big group and confetti shots just in time! Later, Koren, Aaron, bridesmaids and groomsmen grabbed their brollies and braved the elements for some special moments in wet conditions!

Koren & Aaron's fun pre-wedding shoot at Enterkine Country House Resort with some moody black and whites to start. A great couple, a great shoot and I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding very soon indeed!

Midsummer Solstice sunset at Loch Watten on Sunday. I was in the far north last weekend working for Timespan photographing their ‘Everyone Blames The Weather’ festival. On Sunday evening, along with a couple of good friends from Helmsdale, I drove the short journey further north to Caithness for a quick visit, and was rewarded with one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen well after ten pm!

A good day yesterday exhibiting at Kilmory Events Wedding Open Day in Lochgilphead, Argyll, hosted by Argyll and Bute Registrars. Always a pleasure to chat with engaged couples about their plans and I'm looking forward to photographing more weddings and elopements in this stunning part of Scotland.
