Make Art That Inspires Hi!!! I needed change and I found it through photography.

I'm Brian a photographer originally from San Diego California now living in Newcastle England with my beautiful wife Hannah and dog Rosie. What started out as a hobby to help slow things down, has quickly grown into a fulltime passion. In 2010 I worked for a large company as an Accounts Supervisor for Southern California. It was a very challenging job which I loved but it also absorbed all of my t

ime and energy. As a result, I was very stressed and felt I was living my life to please others and not myself. In 2017 I quit my job and hit the road for 3 months traveling the US. This long road trip solidified my two passions, photography and travel. It's at that time I began taking large groups of people from all over the world on tours throughout the USA and it's also where I met my wife Hannah. Flash forward to 2021, I now live in Newcastle with Hannah and Rosie and have the pleasure of photographing and sharing all the beauty the Northeast has to offer. It is my mission for people to see my photos and inspire them to get out in the world and live life to the fullest. Leveraging specialized editing techniques in Lightroom and Photoshop, I am constantly looking to elevate my images to provide my viewers the same sense of emotion I feel while in the process of capturing the images with my camera.

Uploaded and scheduled for this Sunday at 10am!

For my latest YouTube video, I put everything on the line in the hope that the conditions would pay off. Keep an eye out to see whether they did.

In the meantime, here’s one from the slightly safer viewpoint of the air.

Finding unique compositions has always been one of my main goals when I’m out in the field. I often ask myself, “How can I tell a familiar story in a way that hasn’t been spoken before?”

This image is one of those moments. An early winter morning on the Fish Quay, with the sun rising as a fishing boat leaves the gut. It captures more than a beautiful scene. It tells the story of an industry woven into this coastline for hundreds of years.

That history, still unfolding each morning, is what makes this image so special.

One of the images from my upcoming YouTube video.

I thought I’d play it safe and capture a few shots from the shore before heading down into the tide to photograph some seriously wild waves crashing in.

The good news? I didn’t get swept out to sea.
The even better news? I came away with some cracking shots.

Stay tuned for the full behind-the-scenes video, this Sunday at 10am.

I’ve visited Holy Island more times this year than ever before, not only to capture its beauty through my camera, but also to share it with visiting friends and family. Steeped in history and surrounded by incredible scenery, there’s something truly magical about this place. No matter how many times I return, it never loses that feeling.
