One of my favourite things about this work is meeting wonderful people who travel from abroad to get married or elope here in Scotland. There’s something so special about embracing the wild landscapes, finding an old castle, and making the whole experience your own.

A little whimsical bridal-inspired wander through Edinburgh Old Town, filled with laughter and a Harry Potter touch of magic along the way - maybe? ✨

This was my very first time shooting models, and the best part is that they are a real couple in love and OMG: the photos, their connection, and their fun, playful personalities! I was completely in love with the energy, and I think we all had so much fun together.

When passion and love are there, it becomes so easy and beautiful to photograph (with the extra touch that they know what they are doing), so my guidance became a little different, allowing us to explore all the directions and creative things we could do!

Pure real love, isn’t it the best and also the hardest thing? I think so. And when it happens… magic happens too ✨🌿

I’m Ari, an Edinburgh-based photographer passionate about capturing real stories. My mission with you is simple: I want you to feel comfortable, at ease, to have fun and to create a real experience that ends in photographs that truly reflect this moment in your life.

Maybe it’s fear, happiness, joy, or just a new chapter… whatever it is, I want to capture it as it is 🤍

Well, I believe my Spanish, friendly personality helps a lot in the process but I’ll also guide you along the way. I might make you do silly things, bring some fun props, and ask you questions about yourself… Sometimes it even gets a bit philosophical and we have to pause and come back to the shoot 😅

But that’s because I really want to get to know you, so I can capture the best, most real version of you with my camera.

Destiny and fate have a funny way of bringing out the bravest parts of ourselves. They definitely did for me.
This park, hill or place means so much to me, it’s where everything began. 🌿

As a traveller living in Edinburgh, I get asked all the time: why Scotland? And then the day of the session comes… and something clicks. They see it and they understand.

So yeah… be brave, like I was. If you’ve got an idea, follow it. Figure out how to make it real. Those little signs along the way? They’ll guide you more than you think (they did for me.).

Portraits in Edinburgh really are something else. If you want to capture your journey, your trip, and turn it into something intentional and meaningful, I’m here for that 🤍
