When adventure calls, you go. Because some love stories need a little adventure. 🌊

This kayak couples photoshoot was an actual adventure, not only to photograph, but simply to be there and feel it.

We kayaked to a secret beach, spent the evening surrounded by the sea, did a bit of storytelling photos and then came back to create the photographs we had imagined.

The reflections on the water. The colours changing throughout the evening. The seals appearing around us. The feeling of actually being on an adventure together.

WOW. I honestly can’t put into words how it felt.🩵🦭

And the best part? I got to photograph it. To do what I love doing.

Could I ask for more in life? Probably. But I also feel like I’m finally finding my way towards what I truly love doing and, more importantly, becoming better at it every time I do it.

Experiences like this are unique. They become memories, stories, little pieces of your life that you carry with you.
And being able to craft something like this to tell your story?
It’s simply beautiful. 🤍

One of the biggest things I’ve learnt as a photographer is that the best photographs don’t always come from the plan.

Of course, I’ll have ideas. We can talk about the moments you want to capture, the places you’d love to go, and the things that are important to you.

But I never want you to feel like we have to follow a strict plan just because it was written down beforehand.
Your wedding, your elopement, your session, it should have space to breathe.

Space for your people. Space for the chaos. Space for the unexpected. Space for something completely unplanned to happen.
Because sometimes, those are the moments that become your favourite photographs.

So yes, we’ll have a plan.
But we’ll also leave room to forget about it for a little while.

You celebrate. I’ll be there to notice the moments. 🤍

Elopements in Edinburgh are becoming such a popular choice, and these are some of the places couples most often ask me about when planning their day.

There’s something about the cobbled streets, grey stone, historic architecture and moody Scottish atmosphere that gives an elopement such a cinematic and timeless feel.

This beautiful American couple had a huge story to tell, and we had so much fun capturing their day and all the little moments in between.

When someone asks me for a creative photoshoot, my answer is always YES.✨✨

Why? Because these sessions are filled with emotion, meaning, and a storytelling journey to photograph.

Every form of art speaks to us in its own way. It makes us feel something through different channels, and for me, music is one of the most powerful. Pairing photography with music allows me to bring those two artistic worlds together and create something very personal authentic to me. 🤍

A photograph captures a moment, but music gives it another layer. Together, they create a story that feels just richer & more emotional and I am so excited to share more with you.

I had the pleasure of photographing Bridget Yee during her piano performance at St Giles’ Cathedral St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh (those photos are coming soon!).

After the performance, we spent the rest of the evening experimenting with the connection between music and nature, something that inspired so many composers of the Romantic era & we had SO MUCH fun! 🌙

Some previews from this beautiful Scottish elopement 🤍🌿

One of my favourite things about this work is meeting wonderful people who travel from abroad to get married or elope here in Scotland. There’s something so special about embracing the wild landscapes, finding an old castle, and making the whole experience your own.

This was my very first time shooting models, and the best part is that they are a real couple in love and OMG: the photos, their connection, and their fun, playful personalities! I was completely in love with the energy, and I think we all had so much fun together.

When passion and love are there, it becomes so easy and beautiful to photograph (with the extra touch that they know what they are doing), so my guidance became a little different, allowing us to explore all the directions and creative things we could do!

Pure real love, isn’t it the best and also the hardest thing? I think so. And when it happens… magic happens too ✨🌿
