...Why tf do we throw confetti? 🤔

Well, throwing confetti is one of the oldest wedding traditions still carried into the modern day. Before colourful paper confetti existed, guests would throw rice, grains, herbs, and flower petals over newlyweds as symbols of fertility, prosperity, abundance, and good fortune for their new life ahead.

Over time, the tradition evolved into the instaworthy colourful showers we know now, but the meaning stayed the same: surrounding a newly married couple with celebration, hope, and well wishes as they begin their next chapter together!

Styled shoot! ❤️

I am collaborating with some amazing local suppliers and putting on a styled wedding shoot at CANVAS next month, which I am really excited about!

I have the main suppliers sorted now, but I'm looking for any local suppliers who offer something on the list below, or something that isn't included and is a little out of the ordinary. who would be interested in taking part. It is TF so wouldn't be paid, however you'd get full use of images (and it will be really fun!). The shoot will be like a mock wedding/elopement, so this is a perfect opportunity for any local businesses to get some stunning images for socials.

✅ Looking for:
• Charcuterie, pizza or any kind of finger foods (only need a small amount)
• Wedding car or vehicle
• Jewellery (gold wedding + engagement ring, necklaces etc)
• A musician
• A live artist
• Shoes

Family is not a template. Not all families look the same from the outside... This one happens to come with paws instead of tiny feet, and just as much love! 🌸

I know Rowan and Carina from my other business (I was lucky to be a part of their wedding day last year as Rowan's MUA!) so it was so much fun to do their first ever family photoshoot with the gorgeous Winnie. She's an ex-racing greyhound who is an absolute diva, and such a big sweetheart 🥹

Some families have kids running around. Some have dogs underfoot. Some have both, some have neither. But this one has lots of love, and a very spoiled pooch! ❤️
