I recently shared an image now known as "Shaking Dog" The moment I captured it, I knew it was something special.

My college lecturers submitted the photograph on my behalf to the Advanced Photography category at Craftex, where it went on to be selected as the winning image.

What makes this award even more meaningful is that the "shaking dog" belongs to someone who has been by my side throughout my entire photography journey, my best friend and photography partner, Iwona. Mom.with.cam Being able to share this achievement with her makes it all the more special.

I’m incredibly grateful and proud to now have two awards to my name, and thankful to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way.

I'd like to invite everyone along to our HND College Photography Exhibition! It's completely free and open to everyone, so whether you're passionate about photography or simply curious, we'd love to see you there.

There will be an incredible variety of work on display, showcasing the talent and creativity of the students across a wide range of photographic styles. I'll also be exhibiting some of my fine art dog photography, including one of my award-winning images, presented as high-quality framed wall art.

If you're considering getting into photography or thinking about studying it at college, please come along and have a chat. Studying photography has been a truly life-changing experience for me, helping me develop my skills, grow my business, and achieve two photography awards along the way.

Now that it’s been handed in and is completely out of my hands, I can finally share my graded unit project, Two Souls, One Journey.

This project set out to explore the unique connection between humans and their canine companions, and the outdoor spaces they experience together. Through a collection of images, I wanted to capture the trust, companionship, and shared journeys that make this bond so special.

Looking back, this project has been both a creative challenge and a rewarding experience, giving me the opportunity to reflect on the relationships and moments that often go unnoticed in our everyday lives.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring this project to life. Your time, support, encouragement, and willingness to be part of the process made this work possible, and I sincerely thank each and every one of you.

Gia’s personality, playful spirit, and those tiny flying paws made every shot a joy to capture.

It’s crazy to think there’s only a few more weeks left of college before I head off to university to study BA (Hons) Photography 🎓📷
Time really does fly… just like Gia 🐶✨

Looking for a dog model + human duo for tomorrow morning around 10am.

Please note: no German Shepherds, Labradors, Dalmatians, or Spaniels, as I already have these breeds booked.

The dog must be obedient and comfortable with basic commands such as sit, stay, lie down, wait, etc.

I’m looking to capture the bond between owner and dog, so the owner must also be comfortable being photographed alongside their dog.

In return, you will receive 3 professionally edited images from the shoot at the end of July.

I’d just like everyone to appreciate the level of skill it took to capture this exact moment. 😂🐾

A split second earlier and it’s just a wet dog.
A split second later and I’m wearing half the loch.

Instead, we got THIS masterpiece:
✔ flying water
✔ tiny teefs
✔ action-movie intensity
✔ ears operating independently from the rest of the body

This is the kind of chaotic perfection I live for as a photographer. You can’t pose this stuff, you just stand there, question your life choices, and hope your camera survives.

Worth it.

Meet Bron – handsome, curious, and full of personality 🐾

I’m sharing a few favourites from our forest session together 🌿📸 It was one of those shoots that felt more like a relaxed wander than work – lots of exploring, great light, and a dog who was completely in his element.

Behind the scenes… a little bit of chaos as always 😅 I’d just put my jacket down close to where Bron decided the nearby tree was the perfect spot for a wee… a bit closer than I would’ve liked. Then, as if on cue, another dog came along shortly after and made a very committed attempt to upgrade my jacket into its next target 🙃

Safe to say, quick reactions and a well-timed “HEY!” saved the day (and the jacket) just in time 😂

These are the moments you don’t see in the photos – but they’re definitely part of the story!

I’m off to Berlin on Monday for the week ✈️ so just a quick heads up:
– No Shoots
– No editing
– Replies might be a little slower

Back soon and ready for more four-legged adventures 🐕✨

What a weekend.... On Saturday evening I attended the National Pet awards at the Marriot hotel in Glasgow and Im delighted to let you all know that i WON the award for Pet Photographer of the year. I met some amazing people and had such a fabulous night. Im absolutley nackered but just wanted to say a massive thank you to anyone who voted for me, it truely means the world and to hear all the amazing feedback I get for my Photography inspires me to keep pushing. We are building something truely great over here and im buzzing to have u all along for the crazy ride. Thanks from the bottom of my heart 🫶🙌🙏
