Here’s the larger album of photos from a visit to Ford green nature reserve a couple of weeks ago.
I went from not doing much photos, to lots in a couple of weeks so I’ve got a back log of images to share.
Isn’t spring the best time of year 😍

A big album of birds photos from a couple of hours in the hide yesterday morning, early on the sun is directly in front of me, backlighting the subject.
A lot of birds brought their fledglings down to feed yesterday, but the stars of the show were the baby blue t**s, little yellow, clumsy fluff balls 🐦
The woodpecker has been coming down, but only onto the feeder for now, I’ll let him get comfortable with that before I move stuff around.

These photos were taken on the sweltering bank holiday Monday 🥵
This is an art installation called ‘the ship’ at half moon bay in Heysham.
And a couple of images at distance of Heysham north lighthouse, it was too hot to go rock climbing to get closer 😂

I captured a few images of the dogs and kids when on the beach on Monday evening.
Some nice reflection shots, and using the sun to make some silhouette style images 🌅

Last night has got to be up there with my all time favorite sunsets.
After an absolute melting day spent around the caravan, we went down to the beach at 8.30pm when it had cooled down, the sun had already started to light up everything in this amazing orange.
Kids playing in the retracting sea, dogs enjoying it just as much. The beach to ourselves, and an absolutely amazing sunset to finish a couple of nights away 🌅

The temperature finally started to drop at around 8.30pm yesterday evening, so after most of the day sat at the caravan, we all went down to the beach to enjoy our last night. And had it to ourselves 🏖️
Photos to follow 👀

A cancelled day at work yesterday allowed for a full morning spent in my hide so I’ve got a few photos to go through, just as I went in to grab some food I heard buzzards circling and managed to capture some images, although they were pretty high up 🦅

Some visits, and encounters make the waiting and watching worthwhile. And this visit to my back garden hide this morning did just that.
A little Robin trusting the feeders to briefly bring its little fledging. 1 minute at most, but 1 minute worth waiting for 🐦 with the lovely yellow back drop of next doors laburnum tree
