A wedding full of personality, stunning Cumbrian views and a dance floor that didn’t stop! 🤍

Jess & Matty celebrated their day at the beautiful Barn in the Fells, surrounded by family, friends and plenty of thoughtful touches, including personalised tambourines that definitely made themselves heard later in the evening! 🥁✨

I photographed the whole day wearing a support boot after injuring my ankle, but there was no way I was missing capturing such an incredible day. From emotional moments to epic dancing (with the bride’s dad’s band providing the soundtrack!) this was a wedding to remember.

“What is your job?”

I tell them I’m a wedding photographer.

But it’s so much more than taking photos.

It’s meeting couples at the very start of their journey and hearing their story.

It’s planning, dreaming, and preparing together.

It’s capturing the excitement of a pre-wedding shoot and the nervous anticipation of the morning preparations.

It’s documenting the laughter, the tears, the hugs, the vows, the first dance and all the little moments in between.

It’s spending hours afterwards carefully editing every image, reliving every moment, and crafting memories that will last a lifetime.

It’s the incredible people I get to meet. The beautiful places I get to visit.

The trust couples place in me to tell one of the most important stories of their lives.

This isn’t just my job.

It’s my passion.
