Maternity photo sessions at home ❤️

Being at home for your photo-shoot means you feel your most relaxed and comfortable and is the perfect setting to show off your beautiful bump in all its glory.

Not everyone likes to show some skin and that’s absolutely fine - they’re your photos! But if you would, I recommend a cosy in-home session like this one.

My beautiful town of Cheltenham is very much in the spotlight this week with the famous racing festival taking place from today until Friday! 🐎

I’ve never actually been to the races myself but any chance to show off this amazing town and I’m here for it!

Cheltenham isn’t my home-town, I moved here in 2007 and quickly fell in love with it. I’ve lived in quite a few places over the years, and Cheltenham is the place which truly feels like home. So I’m staying put!

And I love to incorporate its stunning architecture and design into my photo sessions, just like with this gorgeous couples’ shoot at the .

Experienced & knowledgeable ✔️

Chatting with this couple at their newborn photo session it was clear they loved their garden. And as soon as I saw this tree and the swing they’ll be pushing their little girl on in years to come, I knew we could make something beautiful.

But equally, I know from many years experience that taking a newborn baby outside for photos in the winter months needs to be handled carefully.

• a garden works perfectly because we can do the majority of the photos inside and then pop out for 10 minutes to quickly get these shots
• the couple had this gorgeous hand kitted outfit so we knew we could keep baby warm without bundling her into so many layers she’d disappear from view!
• we got lucky with the weather being dry and mild. If it’s too cold, it’s just not worth it and I’ll always put baby’s comfort ahead of everything else.

P.S And we couldn’t resist, walking up the lane for baby’s first trip to the local pub to round things off!

Winter photo sessions 🤍

Ok, we might not be able to run through a field of wild flowers at sunset on a warm summer’s evening, BUT when that winter sun shows up, there’s nothing quite like it!

And even if it’s just a glimmer, you can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll find it! And I’ll use it to fill your photos with warmth and light, even on the coldest of days.
