Really chuffed that this image I captured in Kefalonia last September has just been awarded a silver award by The Guild Of Photographers
We knew that we were likely to see the moon eclipse from where we were, so we made our way down to a good vantage point to see what we could capture. What we didn't envisage was the lightning storm off in the distance and the clouds blocking our view of the moon. But we hung around for a while, and I'm so glad we did, as we were treated to the moon rising above the lightning storm and also fully eclipsed. I was so lucky to get this shot.

I had a great few days photographing the hospitality for at the Epsom Derby. But the weather really was a mixed bag!
One minute, people are basking in the sunshine; the next minute, there is a sea of umbrellas, and everyone is holding on against the gale-force winds.
However, the party went on, and everyone had a great time.
