Highlights from a busy but special few days ✨

I never imagined I’d be photographing a wedding at 8 months pregnant, but I made it! It was definitely a challenge, but such a lovely day to be part of, especially getting to shoot with my sister for a day 💛

Then I also headed to Kent for the opening of the Small Cat Rescue Centre at The Big Cat Sanctuary. It was so special to see it finally open after so much hard work, and I couldn’t be prouder of my friend Cam Whitnall and his team, who have dedicated countless hours over the past year to help rescue multiple small cats and give them the second chance they deserve 🦁❤️

Some highlights from heading out with my camera over the past couple of months, that I’d not gotten round to sharing yet. All of these will feature more in my next vlog, about filming in my second trimester 🤰🏻🎥

My first time filming dippers in the UK. Unfortunately I picked the hottest day ever recorded to do so, but was lovely to get a glimpse of them nonetheless!

Baby raccoon in Berlin 🦝

Taking my baby girl out for adventures before she’s even here yet 🤰🏻🩷

How beautiful is this tree?!

Magical moments watching a grey wagtail feeding its young in the nest 🪺✨

More dipper action!

The sound of running water is one of my favourite things. I always find it so peaceful ☺️

Whilst filming a raccoon inside a hole in a tree, an unexpected visitor joined the frame 🥹

Goodbye 👋🏻😂✨

Reflecting on my personal experience of what it’s been like to be pregnant in this industry. This time for me has raised questions I hadn’t really considered before. This isn’t about blame, it’s about recognising that pregnancy doesn’t erase experience, creativity, ambition, or professional value. I think it’s really important for me to share and open up about this so that hopefully things can one day change.
