Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Claire and David's lovely little micro wedding at The Story in Durham!

I've never been to a wedding where there was so much joy, emotion, love and silliness to photograph in a single hour! I'm so glad I got to capture it all because It was such a lush way to spend my morning and I was at drinking amazing coffee by midday - what a bonus!

If you're having a smaller micro wedding/elopement and maybe my packages ain't what you want - please get in touch! I know I bang on about the party a lot but I really do love these little intimate days too!!

FRANCIS AND DAN - THE PRIESTS HOUSE

This was a special one - I've been friends with Fran since she delivered the best ever vegan ribs to my house many years ago - when she had a vegan food delivery service! Capturing her day was an absolute joy - I legit cried a couple of times...

Fran and Dan chose to celebrate their day by having a twilight wedding at in Skipton. It's such a gorgeous venue and suited their vibe sooooo much!

I loved capturing all the little intimate moments,  as well as the pre wedding dress steaming, lots of cheese + cake eating, some gorgeous portraits, epic confetti photos and capturing my first ever mosh pit at a wedding!! I feel so privileged that they asked me to capture such a wonderful day!

JADE AND JAKE!!

What a start to my wedding season - this was my second wedding of the week, this time at the lovely !

I met Jade and Jake at a wedding fair years ago, we immediately got on, and I was absolutely buzzing they asked me to photograph their wedding day!

It was my first time at 61 Durham, but I had an absolute blast.

We started the day in the tiniest little room photographing prep - and did an amazing job, and everyone looked absolutely gorgeous!

I took this time to have a little look around the venue. I loved how easy it was to move through the different rooms, every time passing through the middle blue room - it was definitely my fav room!

The ceremony was gorgeous, and it was followed by lots of laughter and some pretty incredible dance moves. The father, daughter dance, was absolutely amazingggg. No slow dancing here!

ROSIE AND LAUREN!!

I shot my first wedding of the season on Wednesday, and what an absolutely epic wedding it was!!

Rosie and Lauren had a twilight ceremony at
the gorgeous in Jesmond!

It was my first time there and the whole place looked amazing. The ceremony was super wholesome, and it was followed by the most joyful evening celebrations. It really was a day filled with pure love, and everyone had so much fun!

It was the perfect way to kick off this year's wedding season (well and truly kicked off early this year - I had another joyous wedding on Saturday too) but Lauren and Rosie's day really did get me excited for the year ahead!

Heyy!!

I thought it's about time I reintroduce myself on here!

I'm a super fun, colourful, wedding photographer taking super joyful photos of your day exactly as it happens!

I love wearing and , drinking kombucha, I'm vegan, music means a lot to me - it all started photographing bands and I still work within music now curating the Rebel Rouser stage for Greenbelt Festival!

But most of all... I LOVE weddings! Being able to capture your days full of joy, belly laughs, tears, silly moments and killer dance moves and delivering an epic gallery of images that makes you feel your wedding day all over again!

Wooo, you're getting married!? Congrats!!

I take absolutely epic, fun, colourful, and candid wedding photos! I love being able to capture your day as it happens - no cheesy poses, no standing around for hours. Just me capturing you're epic wedding, the belly laughs, the happy tears, the little glances and squeezes throughout as well as some super relaxed, fun couple and group shots (if you want them!) and I stay to photograph all those killer dance moves!

Day 24 of the is THRIVE

Ahhh I actually made it to the end of the advent challenge, that alone is me thriving on here....

This year has had lots of ups and downs personally, but I feel like I've really thrived photographing such joyous weddings this year!

I know next year is going to bring lots more challenges (photography wise I need to photograph a lot more weddings as I do this full time now) but also personally. I feel determined to thrive, though, and I'm excited to see what the year brings!

I've quickly thrown together some of my favourite moments of this year, but there were many more!

Thanks to everyone who asked me to capture their days!

I'm going to sign off for Christmas now, but I hope you all have a very joyous festive period!

Day 23 of the is Analogue.

I feel like these posts have got a lot poorer the closer to Christmas it's got, but hey, I'm still here.

I did have the idea of doing a couples shoot on film for this, but I didn't get around to it. Then I thought about getting some wedding Polaroids together, but I didn't do that either, and image 3 on here is my view of the motorway as I'm writing this post.

Soooo here's two images of I took in Leeds shop during , maybe like 15 years ago?

They were the only film photos I had access to on my phone, so yeah, enjoy!
