Second look, sunset, sparkles, kisses and the start of the wedding evening party.

At this point I am convinced second look can be whatever you wish and Lucy made her stunning dress work so well with the evening party. The casino was the cherry on top. I feel that everything came so well together and you can clearly see tell how much in love these two are.

For the evening photoshoot, the brief was clear, to use the time they’re walking and only a few photographs outside in changed outfits. Very little interruption and making sure couple has time to themselves. Having had ideas prepped in advance, I was able to execute this perfectly and the couple was within minutes back to their party, enjoying the company of their loved ones.

Also, the way he looks at her, the way their chemistry works it’s clear that this love goes on strong when no-one is watching.

Right now it’s my favourite pose and detail photo I take on a wedding day. The photo is amazing but so is the lying down for that one time in a full on busy wedding day hehe. Working smart, not hard 😄

Wind was crazy that day and to be honest it made everything so much better, more dramatic and fun. The ideas I had from this angle were slightly different but the veil in the wind made it a million times better.

The wedding day is not all about perfect posing and smooth sailing. It’s about finding perfect the those moments that might seem imperfect. This was one of those. Imperfect moment turned PERFECT!

As a wedding photographer it is my job to notice and capture that for my couples.

The obsession was real… Wedding photos are a pure proof of that obsession but the trust from the couple to me, their wedding photographer, was on another level.

It just shows how trust is everything when it comes to picking your wedding photographer. Because when you trust me, I get to create a gallery of memories for you that I know you will be obsessed with too.

If you were to take away anything from Lucy and Chris’s wedding, congratulations by the way, it would be this… Spend money where matters to you and do things that are actually meaningful to you. Don’t go by what social media or Pinterest is showing you.

Do you really want a photo of a dress hanging or your jewellery flat lay photos? They didn’t, and so I didn’t bother.

Do you actually care about cake cutting? Or not? They didn’t but they had a beautiful first dance.

Do you care about confetti? They didn’t, but rather had a passionate kiss with people cheering in the background.

Do you want a first look? Lucy definitely did and it was as emotional as you’d expect.

There are so many rules, do’s and don’t’s but when planning a wedding, you have to look within to really know what matters to you. And more activities won’t give you better wedding photos… you being in the moment with your family will. And in the end, that matters the most and those moments will be the ones you will want to look back on in your wedding gallery.

When couple is so gorgeous and so happy to go along with whatever vision I have… literally dream results guaranteed!!!!

With their wedding approaching fast with only a few days left, I cannot but share some of the images we captured on their planning day when we visited their venue.

Their wedding was two years in the maki and it’s finally here!!!!

The first part I asked to do, the lift off was all them and I am so here for it. Honestly what amazing bunch of groomsmen and exactly the energy you want.

This part of the day!!!! And these photos are only achievable with proper planning and time dedicated.

This is not a second photographers job, this is the main job and the one that needs care, attention and a creative eye.

Too often I see groom photos given to second shooters and to me this is bonkers. I could never. No matter how busy, I will always find a way to take this part of the job and do it with care.
