A little wedding in the heart of Belfast. 🤍
There’s something so effortlessly stylish about a Belfast City Hall wedding. No long drives between venues, no rushing from one place to another—just time to soak it all in together.
This spring day had everything. Blossoms filling the trees around City Hall, warm sunshine spilling through the streets, and the city quietly going about its day as these two wandered hand in hand, newly married. We crossed roads between the traffic lights, laughed our way through Belfast’s streets, and embraced every little unscripted moment that unfolded.
Their morning began slowly with relaxed getting-ready moments. Her elegant dress hanging in the light, delicate earrings, classic shoes, and one of my favourite moments of the day—her little son’s tiny hand pressed gently against her chest before she left to become a bride. Those are the photographs that will mean even more with time.
The grandeur of Belfast City Hall gave us the most beautiful backdrop, before we slipped into the chic surroundings of Margo for a few celebratory photographs that felt intimate, stylish and completely them.
To make the day even more nostalgic, part of their gallery was photographed on 35mm analogue film. Film has a way of slowing everything down. The soft grain, imperfect motion blur and timeless colours perfectly suited a city wedding that felt relaxed, romantic and wonderfully real.
If you’re planning an intimate celebration and searching for a City Hall wedding photographer in Belfast, know that your day doesn’t need to be extravagant to feel unforgettable. Sometimes all you need is your favourite people, beautiful architecture, a walk through the city, and the freedom to simply enjoy being married.
