Well that’s another season with the man in the big red suit finished. We’ve met some lovely people. Laughed a lot. Cried a little. Been jealous of a few Christmas outfits. So here's the thing. This week has been a bit up and down in our house, and through no fault of their own I now have a lad who is more self conscious than he ought or needs to be. I know what I can see in him and am painfully aware he cannot see what I do.

And sadly he is not the only one. I know there are plenty more out there.

I am thinking of putting together a project to help young people see for themselves what others see in them. I am looking for about 10 participants. If you would like to nominate someone who is a bit lacking in self confidence, believes they aren't cool, beautiful, worthy or anything else, please email me at [email protected] with a brief summary of who they are and why you would nominate them.

My plan is that everyone would get some studio time to explore their own inner potential and they will receive the images from this and a couple of prints.

From this I would compose a panel of images with their permission to put forward for a qualification judging session.

Please note this is just for individuals, not families and the main purpose here is to allow some young, or not so young people to gain some more confidence in themselves.
