✨ A little bit about my other passion ✨
I thought I’d share a little about the other passion that has been such a huge part of my life….
I started dancing when I was just two and trained in ballet and contemporary from a young age. At 15, I joined the Trinity Laban CAT Scheme, training every Saturday, before going on to study Theatre Dance at London Studio Centre.
It was during my time at LSC that my two passions really came together. I’ve always loved photography, and through a Dance on Screen module I discovered how I could combine my love of dance and photography. From filming showreels and dissertations, I eventually moved into photographing dancers on location and now in the studio.
Fast forward to now, and I’m lucky enough to teach dance alongside my photography work, something I absolutely LOVE.
I think that’s why photographing dancers feels so special to me. I understand the passion, dedication and emotion behind every movement.
