I am having a FOG DAY… 🌫️
One of those days where I don’t know where to start.
And I know I’m not alone.
Small business owners face this all the time — especially when you're wearing all the hats:
Accounting.
Sales.
Customer care.
Marketing.
Operations.
…and the list goes on.
Before you know it, you’re frozen, wondering what you should be doing next.
And one of the biggest (and most important) tasks?

Here’s how they work — in 3 simple parts:
1. Pre-Production (The Planning Phase)
This is the “What am I going to talk about?” stage.
Start with:
• Your FAQs
• What you know best
• 1–4 clear key messages
• How many ways you can say those messages
Then:
• Write scripts (or bullet points)
• Plan your hooks (poor hook = no viewers)
• Make content evergreen wherever possible
With the help of AI, you can often turn 1 idea into 3–4 videos.
Then comes the how:
• Where will you film?
• Studio, office, or home?
• Will you be distracted?
Honestly? Hire a studio.
No interruptions.
No washing to distract you.
No unexpected knocks on the door.
Just focus and create.
(And yes… I do have a studio available 👀)
2. Filming the Content 🎥
This is your dedicated filming day.
Lights. Camera. Action.
Make sure you have:
• Props (great visual hooks 👀)
• Outfit changes (optional but useful to have a refresh and reset)
• Scripts or bullet points have you got them!
• AutoCue (game changer — even if you're dyslexic like me!)
• A clear shoot plan
Also capture B-Roll:
• Behind the scenes
• Making coffee ☕
• Meetings
• Working at your desk
• and capture Photos
This becomes extra content gold later.
3. Editing & Repurposing ✂️
If you planned well, editing becomes much smoother.
Add:
• Movement
• Digital zoom
• Graphics
• Captions
Don’t add music yet — wait until posting.
Then repurpose:
• Pull quotes from transcripts
• Turn videos into blogs
• Create text-based posts
• Use B-roll with overlays
BOOM 💥
Months of content from one day.
All that’s left?
Post it.
