Kingswood, Ashford

I am always on the lookout for new places to go to take pictures. So, one cold grey weekend I decided to go out anyway to a place called Kings wood just because I had never been before. It's a 588-hectare mixed conifer and broadleaf woodland located in the Kent Downs, near Challock and Ashford. The place was empty, with mist everywhere, felt like a scene from a horror or disaster movie. I liked the cold, harsh light on that day and they had be cutting, the trees on the left are all that were standing after a cull. I wondered how they felt surviving after all their neighbours had fallen.

From outside the main entrance to Ashford Library

I'd just got some new K&F ND filters and was testing them out in the churchyard, and remembered I'd taken an image a few years earlier from outside the library.

I wasn't 100% happy with this shot but will return and give it another go as I like the composition.

Capturing the loving cheekiest, pure moments spent with my Bestfriend ! I love taking portraiture shots of mine and others fur babies capturing authentic natural shots of their personality and character ! , I use the cannon r7 and the 70-300mm cannon lens and edit via the Lightroom app I love editting black and white shots 👏🏻
