3 years ago V Now…

My Photography journey began 3years ago when I picked up my camera to take photos of Angus playing his first game for Westdyke against his old team Dyce.

From then on, the more photos I took, the more I wanted to learn about it… so I went back to college to study Photography! I’m now half way through my HND course, fitting that in around work and family life.

Im so lucky and grateful that I have been getting lots of opportunities to keep practicing and learning. I’m loving it…Whether that be pitchside, now with the Broch lads or in the middle of a park at Sowin/Silage/Harvest time.. and everything inbetween.

So much to learn and will always trying to get better!

I’ve always wanted to head up the road and experience Lonach Highland Gathering & Games, so this year I decided to go… and wow… it did not disappoint!!

The tradition and spirit is something truly quite special!! 🤍

I can see why it’s a highlight in the calander for sure! I did the whole March in the morning with my Dad and friends, before enjoying the games in the afternoon and it was definitely worth the early morning wake up call!
