Sara + Leonard 🩷

When Sara and Leonard filled in their questionnaire, they described their relationship as being based on “middle finger gestures”.

Immediately, I knew these were my people 🙌🤣

These two met at a mutual friend’s wedding that they both nearly didn’t attend, survived a fake proposal in St Andrews, got engaged for real on Christmas Eve, and finally tied the knot surrounded by their favourite people at Meldrum House.

The flowers were so fluttery and dreamy and perfect, the supplier squad felt like an extension of the bridal party, and Los Perros had the dancefloor absolutely bouncing by the end of the night - someone definitely dm’d me to say the band were so good they felt like they’d been beaten up the next day. 😂

One of those special days where everyone felt relaxed, full of lols, and you could tell just how loved these guys are. 🫶🥹

Finlay + Matthew 🫶

The smell of margaritas was in the air, the gardens at Douneside were showing off and the good vibes didn’t stop all day.

These two have been together since they were teenagers walking home from school together and now happily describe themselves as being in their 30s going on 80s. 😂

They love their garden, their friends, their family and a good party!

It was one of those weddings where I seemed to know half the guest list, which always makes for a fun day. So many familiar faces, so many laughs and such a lovely atmosphere from start to finish.

Finlay and Matthew, you absolute legends. Thanks for letting me be part of it 🥹❤️

When Laura got in touch to tell me all about her wedding plans, I was SO excited. She promised dogs, horses and a bit of chaos, and boy did she deliver 👏😂

Laura and Andrea’s day was such a hoot! The skies may have opened up after Laura and Odin made their grand entrance (have you ever seen an entire wedding ceremony pick up their chairs and run indoors?) but oh boy, did the sun make up for it during the afternoon!

Andrea told us he was winging his speech, with no preparation. If he can come up with a speech that great off the cuff, I reckon he can handle any chaos Laura will bring his way. 🫶😂

Wedding season is nearly in full swing, so I’ve written a wee blog all about pre-wedding shoots!

From what to wear, to where we can go, to what actually happens during the shoot, I’ve covered all the things couples usually ask me before we wander off into the dunes together.

Featuring dogs, Scottish weather chat, and multiple couples who started the shoot saying “we’re awkward in photos” and ended it absolutely smashing it.
