Svaki korak nosi neku svoju misao, neku brigu, neku tišinu. Ljudi prolaze jedni pored drugih, a svatko u sebi vodi neku svoju borbu, neku svoju priču koju nitko drugi ne vidi.
I onda zastaneš.

When you stand on these steps in front of Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur in Paris, something inside you quiets down, as if the city itself pauses for a moment.
This basilica began construction back in 1875 and was completed in 1914, and ever since it has stood here on Montmartre, the highest point in Paris, rising about 130 meters above the city. Maybe that’s why the view from here feels different, not just because of its beauty and vastness, but because, for a moment, you feel above everything that weighs on you.
As you climb these steps, you realize it’s not just a path to the top. Every step carries a thought, a worry, a silence. People pass by one another, yet each of them is walking through their own story, their own quiet battle no one else can see.
And then you stop. You look up at the white domes, then down at the city stretching out like a sea, and you understand, it’s not just about reaching the top. It’s about knowing why you’re going, and having the strength to take one more step.
Because sometimes, right there between the sky and the city, is where a person finds themselves.
