With deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Aunty and sister, Makereta Teneu Bulai who passed away on 5th September,2026. Born on 28th February, 1955, Makereta was a woman of unwavering faith, A true woman of God, Makereta’s life was a testament to faith, love, and service. She carried herself with grace and kindness, always placing her trust in the Lord.
Although she will be sorely missed, Makereta leaves behind a legacy of devotion and compassion - her spirit will live on in the lives she touched.

Her unwavering love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her and she will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered for her kindhearted spirit and dedication to her family, friends, the Church and the Vanua. Her enduring legacy of love and humility will continue to touch the lives of all who knew her.

Proverbs 31:25 –
"Strength and honour are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come."
