Desde os primeiros minutos do ensaio, eu percebi que a conexão deles não estava nas poses e sim nos detalhes: nas risadas, nos olhares e na tranquilidade de quem compartilha a vida há tanto tempo.

Caminhamos por downtown sem grandes poses, deixando espaço para que eles simplesmente vivessem. Porque, no fim, não são os cenários que contam uma história, mas a parceria, a confiança e o carinho que existem entre duas pessoas.

Foi uma tarde leve, divertida e cheia de amor. E acredito que as melhores fotografias sempre nascem assim: quando a única preocupação é aproveitar o momento juntos e saber que fotografar nunca é só sobre imagens. É sobre enxergar aquilo que existe entre duas pessoas e transformar essa conexão em uma lembrança que possa ser revivida por muitos anos. 🤍✨

As vezes o amor chega sem um aviso prévio, ele só vem e simplesmente faz o seu papel, de unir propósitos e pessoas que se dispõem à fazer a missão funcionar.
É nos detalhes incomum ou nas transformações que o outro trás que contribuem para nossa melhor versão.
Fotografar a Kysla e Hyann foi ver um amor divertido, onde as gargalhadas não pediam permissão para acontecer, e a diversão, quem convive com eles sabe que é certa! Que dia feliz! Que delícia reviver esse dia!

Parece que foi ontem que era Janeiro, muita neve e nós no park criando memórias do barrigão. No mês seguinte juntos no hospital vendo nascer o nosso solzinho Benjamin.
A vida cria se faz de uma forma inesperada, o que o Instagram recomendou, dali surgiu uma amizade e o privilégio de poder acompanhar com muitos cliques todo esse primeiro ano de vida do Ben e de vocês sendo pais.
Acredito que ser fotógrafa é mais do que prestar um serviço, é conexão, é compartilhar de uma experiência única, pois juntos estamos criando novos capítulos da nossa história. E com vocês meus amigos Carla e Hugo, posso dizer que foi mais que especial, cada sorriso, cada abraço de chegada, os bolos e chimarrão, estão pra sempre guardados no meu coração assim como desejo que nossa amizade perdure.
Gratidão por memórias tão felizes com vocês e com nosso neneco perfeito. Amo vocês 🤍

Some people carry a camera in their hands. Others carry a unique way of seeing the world. Alessandro carries both.

Sometimes we forget that photographers deserve to be in front of the camera too. And when two photographers come together to create, the result becomes so much more than portraits. It’s a mutual exchange of experiences, inspiration, and stories.

This urban session, with a vintage aesthetic that reflects his personality so well, was born from exactly that connection. We simply wandered through the city, letting the light, the architecture, and the little details tell the story of someone who is usually behind the lens.

It was a privilege to photograph a friend who, like me, believes photography is about so much more than images. It’s a way of seeing, feeling, and preserving life.

Because every once in a while, the person who spends their time telling other people’s stories deserves to have their own story told.

From the very first engagement session, one thing stood out to me: the way they always found each other.

Between shy smiles, inside jokes only they understood, and the way their eyes were always searching for one another, there was a sense of security that was hard to put into words. It was beautiful to witness how he supported her, not just with his hands, but with his presence. And how, with him, she could simply be herself.
Long before English became part of their daily lives, they were already speaking the same language: the language of care, admiration, and the quiet beauty of love.

On their wedding day, that feeling became even stronger. Through laughter, tears, and warm embraces, I had the feeling I wasn’t just photographing a wedding, but a story that was always meant to be.

Some kinds of love don’t need to be loud.

They simply remind us that finding someone who makes the world feel like a safe place is one of life’s greatest gifts. 🤍

And so began Drayce and Daniel’s beautiful “I do.”

My deepest gratitude for all the kindness I received from both of you and everyone who shared this day with us. It’s a day I will always carry in my heart.

Ela vinha à trabalho para Toronto, mas eles nem imaginavam que pouco tempo antes de embarcarem, essa viagem teria um novo significado. Seria a última viagem sendo só eles dois. Crescendo na barriga agora havia o fruto do amor deles e assim uma viagem de turismo e trabalho se tornou a viagem de anunciação da espera do primeiro filho 🥹🤍

Algumas histórias tenho o privilégio de voltar para as minhas lentes.

Há dois anos, fotografei o pré-wedding deles. Depois, o amor ganhou uma nova forma na doce espera pelo Dante. E hoje, enquanto revisito essas imagens, meu coração sorri sabendo que aquele bebê tão esperado já está nos braços deles.

É uma das coisas mais bonitas da fotografia: perceber que o tempo passa, a vida floresce e as memórias se tornam ainda mais preciosas.

Reencontrar vocês sempre tem a mesma leveza, o mesmo carinho e a mesma sensação de estar fotografando uma história que continua sendo escrita com muito amor.

Obrigada por me permitirem caminhar com vocês em mais um capítulo dessa família tão linda. 🤍

There are weddings that leave you in awe because of their grandeur.

And then there are the ones that quietly change the way you see life.
Photographing Megs and Alex was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve ever had. They weren’t chasing the perfect timeline, the perfect photos, or a perfectly planned day. They simply wanted to live it. And maybe that’s why everything unfolded so naturally.

That day, we walked through their story. We visited the building they call home, the streets that are part of their everyday life, shared the burger they always order, and ended the day at their favorite spot in the city. It didn’t feel like a wedding. It felt like a documentary about two people deeply in love with the life they had built together.

Echo was everywhere. In their smiles, their glances, and in all the little moments that anyone who loves a dog would instantly recognize. It was impossible not to see that he was part of their story too.

Then came the vows, the hugs, the stories shared by the people they love, and a celebration so intimate that, for a few moments, I forgot I was working. I simply felt every moment as I photographed it. I watched two people completely at peace with the day they were living.
Not trying to control time. Not chasing perfection. Just fully present.

Sharing this wedding with my second photographer, Anna Chang , made the experience even more special. While I told their story through my perspective, she captured the details that deserved to be remembered.

I left that day with much more than beautiful photographs. I left with a reminder: the best stories are never the ones that go exactly as planned. They’re the ones where people have the courage to simply live them.

And I think this wedding changed a little piece of the photographer I want to keep becoming. 🤍
