Emily Ding Photography

Emily Ding Photography I am a gal who loves photography, and who happens to be an opera singer as well.

I love weddings, I love singing; but it makes my heart sings more when I make people feel confident and beautiful through my lens.

Great concert last night with Opera In Concert, Kurt Weill’s Lost in the Stars. I saw a lot familiar faces from my school/performing days. Such beautiful singing and not a dry eye in the audience. Congratulations to all!

Maddy and Jonathan’s wedding was exactly what a summer backyard wedding should be, the weather was perfect, the flowers are gorgeous, and there was so much music and love and laughter…

As I mentally prepare for another season, I can’t help but to reflect on this summer, and many seasons of weddings (and sometimes the couple’s babies and grown up babies). I count myself lucky for continuing doing something I truly enjoy. Although I probably won’t be featured on Vogue (but you never know), I try my best to capture all the smiles, tears, the love there are present in between the moments. Isn’t that the point of a wedding anyways?
