There’s something about the minutes before a bride walks down the aisle that I’ll never get tired of photographing.

The anticipation. The deep breaths. The laughter with the girls who have been part of so many chapters before this one. The little moments of calm tucked in between all the excitement.

It’s the last few minutes of one chapter, before she steps into the next.

Not so long ago, these two were standing hand in hand, promising forever. Today, they’re lying beneath the prairie sky, dreaming about the little life that’s about to make them a family.

From wedding vows to baby dreams, it’s one of the greatest privileges of my job to witness these milestones and preserve them along the way.
