We are half way through grad season and still in the midst of the busy dance season work. It’s the time of year where both overlap and it’s fair to say it’s not for the faint of heart and a whole heck of a lot.
We have been so very lucky these last couple weeks spending our evenings with incredible graduates and their family and people in their circles. This month has been trying weather wise and we spend our daytimes navigating, pivoting and pivoting again but somehow during the rainiest and stormy days we’ve been having, every single shoot has turned out to be incredible and magical and we haven’t even had to go indoors as a plan B yet.
Danielle has been shooting my grads for me for these past 3 years, and as we make a really great team and I love working with her while I creatively plan out the shoots and help posing and moving through them, there is no way I could continue seeing all these grads without her! She knows me so well and in turn knows how important my relationships are with each grad we see and why they continue to come to see me even if I’m not holding up my camera. They trust me that Danielle is the right girl for the job - and that she is!
So we may look and feel a little tired and over caffeinated after these past few months, but we have the fullest cups and grateful hearts and LOVE showing up for you grads every evening and love that we get to do this for you.
