We need to talk about Sheena.

Like seriously, she’s such a badass in the best way possible. She’s building her own empire with Fiero Financial, and as her client, I can tell you she knows her stuff and makes finance actually make sense for a change.

The way she leads with confidence and kindness in, let’s be honest, a male dominated industry? I admire the hell out of that. That’s honestly one of the inspirations that drove the concept behind this session.

THIS IS IT Fall lovers! It’s here. This is what we’ve been training for.

The autumn colours are doing their thing and will be for the next couple of weeks.

Fall is for family. And for extended family photography sessions obviously.

There’s so much more to these sessions than just getting everyone in one photo. Although that’s clearly a pretty important part. It’s also about breaking down all the different branches that make up the family tree. It’s less about photographing the groupings, but the relationships within it. Those playful moments with grandma that will be treasured forever. The way your kids interact with you and each other at this present stage. The way your parents still look at each other after all these years. 💖

If this is something you haven’t done with your extended family yet, be sure to add it to your list. It may sound a little chaotic, and it is, but also totally worth it to preserve your family legacy in this way.

This will be my first thanksgiving weekend in many years where I’m 100% off work and I’m so excited to soak up all the fall things, my family, and even getting my home back together as we near the finish line of our basement flood repairs.

Happy 21st birthday to my beautiful baby Lilli 🥰.

The source of a decent amount of my stress and the root of so much of my joy.

My daughter and my bestie all in one.

And that saying about you only have 18 years, 18 summers blah blah blah …it’s bu****it. There’s so much more after 18. It’s a lifetime gig.

Happy sweater weather, Niagara! 🍂 The fall colours are just starting, and I feel like they’re popping a little earlier this year.

If you’re thinking about a fall family session, now’s the time to reach out so we can find a date. The fall colours are typicaly gorgeous through the end of October, and these photos were actually taken in late November so there’s always a little flexibility.

There are a few options: mini sessions on October 24, or a full family lifestyle or extended-family session.

Fall is one of my favourite times to photograph families, not just because of the colours, but because the light is extra magical, too.

I almost don’t want to share this secret, but Jordan Village might just be one of the best engagement photo spots in Niagara.

Especially on a weeknight evening when the shops are closed, the streets are quiet and somehow you’ve got this ridiculously gorgeous little village almost entirely to yourselves.

It’s perfect for couples who don’t exactly love an audience. You can wander the streets, sneak down little alleyways, stop in pretty gardens and just be together without feeling like the whole world is watching.

Romantic. Quaint. Quiet. Almost European vibes.
