How stunning is family and this baby and this nursery! 🥹 All these incredible newborn sessions are giving me some crazy baby fever! The newborn smell, their tiny little hands and feet, nursing sessions, and the endless cuddles, I really do miss it all so much! Why does it have to go by so fast?! 😭

30 minute sessions
Minimum of 40 fully edited high resolution photographs
$250.00

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking and the remainder is due prior to the session.

Hey I’m Cass 👋 happiest behind my camera! 📸

Truly, photography has been such a blessing for me! Some of you know me from .wooden.elephant , or maybe even Cakes by Cassie! To be honest it felt like I was always searching for the next thing. Craving something new and exciting to fuel my creativity. But with photography I feel a sense a peace and contentment. It allows me to be creative while also interacting with people, and supporting women and families as they journey through some of life’s most exciting (and difficult) times. I have found a way to combine my passion for motherhood and birth and babies with my love for photography, while also supporting my own family and I am beyond grateful for that. So thank you for being here and to those of you who have supported all my crazy adventures along the way! 🎂 🛠️ 📸

🤍 I’m celebrating my 30th birthday this year AND it’s my champagne birthday🥂

🤍 My husband and I went to high school together (same grade) but never spoke. It wasn’t until years after that we crossed paths again at camp. He was saying his testimony during a staff meeting and I leaned over to my friend and said “I’m gonna marry him”. We will be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary this year! 🥹

🤍 We have 2 incredible children! I love being a mom but it is also the hardest thing I’ve ever done! 😅

🤍 I used to work as a Special Events Manager and still loveeee planning parties and events!

Yesterday was my last time shooting .loft in Welland before they open up their new location! So I booked some extra time at the studio to do some personality shots with my babies against my favourite brick wall! So excited to get them printed for our home 🥹

Fresh 48 sessions and why I love them so much! 🥹

Fresh 48 sessions take place within the first 48 hours of your baby’s life at your birth place. They capture those very first hours and interactions of your baby’s life. They can include special moments like siblings meeting for the first time, a nursing session, or skin to skin. We capture those first newborn snuggles, naps in the hospital bassinet (which make the perfect baby announcement photos!) and maybe even going home from the hospital depending on your wishes for the session.

Your baby will change so quickly! You will already start to see changes just a few days after they are born. Fresh sessions capture their perfect little brand new features. Their tiny little feet, hands, finger nails, and nose. The sweet little details you never want to forget. But what I love most about fresh 48 sessions is they capture the fresh and pure emotions of welcoming your baby into the world! These emotions cannot be replicated. These sessions are natural and raw and so beautiful!

Birth is my absolute favourite thing to capture. It is so raw and real and beautiful. A true documentation of your baby’s arrival.

As a mom of two myself, I often regret not having a birth photographer. There are so many moments I didn’t see or don’t remember and I wish I could look back at a photo gallery birth story and relive those days. Welcoming your baby into the world is one of the most important days of your life and I would love to help preserve those memories for you!
