It is hard to believe that this was the last beautiful and warm fall evening of the year but I don't think there is any other family I could of thought to spend it with.

The Sande family joined me west of Ponoka to adventure through one of the most beautiful locations I have known in our area. The sun appeared and then disappeared only to come back in the most perfect timing for the last few shots of their session. It may have been a little chaotic but there is no better way to embrace those moments than with each other.

I am obsessed with these photos and couldn't pick just a few to share so here is a little family overload!

Later evening post than usual but with the weather we had today and the wind that is howling through our yard I think I needed to share some warm sunshine!

Would you believe me if I told you that these were taken 2 days ago? Now when I say that the sun was warm I mean it was near mid summer evening feeling! The Sperber family have been friends and clients for many years now. From Cayleighs sisters wedding to their parents family portraits over the last decade it is very very exciting that they will be welcoming baby number 3 into the world early 2027.

Their two little gals are so excited to be big sisters and welcome the new little blessing into their home and it's not only mom that has that glow but we can also say that papa does too!

Oh boy! From the moment this little fella got out of the car he was ready to rock and roll for the Cooper family session.

Typically it takes a little while for kiddos to warm up to the camera but this fam was ready to rock and roll even with the chill in the wind. All smiles and giggles were shared as we wandered through the meadow just south of town and I may be a little late sharing this peek but it was so worth the wait!

Oh how I love the yearly get together with the Hetze family!

We wandered down to the river well before the wind storms and snapped some adventurous photos with the yellows and greens that were still hanging on for us.

This crew nails their session every single time and I cannot get over how big these kiddos are getting. After knowing them for many years it is a time of the year that I look forward.

Big family? Yes Please!!!

I have always loved photographing large groups together. Though at times it may seem intimidating and crazy, and chaotic that is when the most love is seen.

The in-between moments, the snuggles and laughter while the little ones force that goofy smile. These are the moments that may not seem ideal at the moment but years down the road when those little hands don't fit in yours anymore, the grass stained jeans that you thought would ruin the family Christmas Photos, these are the memories that live forever. One day, the chaos will become tears of joy when you look back and remember that it really didn't matter in the moment.

The Scott family is so full of love that I left with a full heart! From the youngest to the oldest kiddo, there was not a moment that we weren't laughing and smiling. I have also had the honor of photographing a couple of their boys as they moved through the ranks of our Broncs football teams.

I don't think I can truly put into words how beautiful this group of people are. So I will leave these here for you all so you can feel it too!

My job as your wedding photographer won't be just to take the photo but make sure that you are present so your not missing a beat!

This wedding just happened to include every goofy moment! To say the least it is one of my favorite weddings to date!

Wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving Weekend!

Some of us have more to be thankful for especially when little blessings come into our lives and add so much to the home!

I have never been great with the studio style wrapping for newborn sessions. I will leave that part for the pros! But, I have always had a knack for really capturing the moments that bring a family together.

The Andrus family asked me to join them this weekend as they welcomed their handsome little man into the world. At just 2 weeks old he really stole the show and I have never seen a more proud big sister who just couldn't get enough of him.

I have had the opportunity to work with this family for a few years and what a gift it is to have watched them grow. I just couldn't get enough of the small talk with Miss J! Also, I hands down can say that Mariah makes thee best cinnamon buns around!
