Let’s talk about pricing for a moment—because it’s something I see come up often and get asked about a lot.
My rates are intentional. They reflect the real investment of time, skill, experience, and care that goes into every session and the final images you receive.
When you book with me, you’re not just paying for a few hours of shooting. You’re investing in years of practice, professional equipment that’s maintained and regularly updated, the ongoing cost of essential software and subscriptions, thoughtful planning before the session, patient and intentional work during it, and many hours of careful editing afterward. Every gallery is reviewed, refined, and delivered with the same standard I would want for my own family.
Quality photography takes more than a camera and a low price tag. It takes knowledge of light, composition, and how to make people feel comfortable. It takes reliability—showing up prepared, communicating clearly, and delivering on time. And it takes pride in the finished product. Those things have real costs, and I believe they’re worth covering so I can continue giving you images you’ll actually love and keep for years.
I don’t do this to make a profit off photography—it simply helps keep the gear, tools, and everything else current and ready for the next client. I understand that budgets vary, and I’m always happy to discuss payment plans that make things more manageable. What I won’t do is compromise on the standard of work I put my name on. In photography, as in most things, you truly get what you pay for. I’m committed to making sure the investment feels worthwhile—not just on the day of the session, but long after the photos are in your hands.
If you have questions about what’s included or how I work, I’m always glad to walk you through it.
