The is going to peak on Thursday morning (12am-5am) with an expected frequency of 50-100 meteors per hour. It is also supposed to be cloudy for the next few nights. It seems like I might have to go into Saskatchewan or Southern Alberta in order to see it. Cross your fingers that I don't have to go on too much of a road trip! Haha!

It's hard to believe summer is almost over! Before long, the kids will be heading back to school.

These moments go by so quickly, and they're worth remembering with photos that capture who your child really is.

This year's Back-to-School Mini Sessions feature a charming antique school desk with fall-inspired decorations for a classic back-to-school feel. If your child has outgrown that style, no problem! I'll also have a second backdrop available, or we can skip the backdrop altogether and capture some relaxed, natural portraits around the session location.

I also encourage kids to bring along a favorite toy, book, sports equipment, musical instrument, or anything else that reflects who they are right now. Those little details often become some of the most meaningful memories to look back on.

A big welcome to this wonderful family, who are new to town! 💜 It was so nice getting to meet them and spend some time together.

We started the session with cool, comfortable weather, but Alberta had other plans. 😅 Before long, the sun was blazing, and the young man just couldn't win the battle against the bright sky. We've all been there!

Even with the changing weather, we captured some beautiful moments together, and I hope these photos help them remember this exciting new chapter in their lives.

The soccer season has come to an end, the medals have been handed out, and this kiddo walked away with three of them! ⚽🏅 Way to go!

There were lots of laughs during this session... and lots of mosquitoes. 😅 Thankfully, we didn't let the bugs win, and I think we ended up with some pretty awesome photos.

A couple of weeks ago, we spent the morning out at the golf course as a family, and while I came home with some great photos of everyone, these shots of my husband and son ended up being my favorites.
This is exactly what I love about themed lifestyle sessions. They're relaxed, genuine, and centered around the things you love most. Whether it's golfing, hiking, baking, gaming, or simply spending time together, your session becomes more than just photos—it tells your story.

I've been a little behind on posting lately, but here's a little peek at a session from a couple of weeks ago!

Confession time... I had it in my head that this sweet little baby was 11 months old, not 1 month old. 😅 That meant a few of the poses I had planned definitely weren't happening. Oops! But that's part of being human, and I think it's important to share the real moments too.

Despite my mix-up, this family was an absolute joy to work with. The kids had so much fun making dandelion wishes, and my favorite part was watching Mom and Dad smile as they simply enjoyed their children being themselves.

I recently got this room divider for a new set piece. (I also have a stool and chair that match.) So I decided to throw together some small flower arrangements and dress it up a little. What do you think?
I plan on doing more as the seasons progress, too. I'm excited to share seasonal and holiday versions as they come up.
