Jeff reached out to me because he wanted to propose to his girlfriend on top of Mount Park on Mayne Island and I instantly said yes. I hopped on a ferry, camped in my friends orchard with her sheep, climbed a mountain, and waited for these two to hike up. I played the part of an oblivious tourist. I had my binoculars out, looking for birds and whales. I chatted them up a bit, and Jeff asked me to take a photo of them on his phone. After a few snaps, I offered to take one on my professional camera since I had it out. That was the cue- Jeff got down on one knee and asked Sarah to marry him. She was truly shocked! I had told Jeff that Sarah might appreciate getting a chance to get dolled up for professional photos, so we met up again later in the day for some engagement photos at the lighthouse. These two clean up real good! Congrats to them both. It was so fun being a part of this epic surprise proposal!
