I revisited some summer flower images from my trip to NYC in August. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving this autumn weather, but I also love giving myself time and space before editing some images. I enjoy it more for some reason. Anyway, here are some of those lovely blooms. xo

I’m starting another editing project. I feel I have completed my Grabenhorst Garden project, and am diving into…cacti! In 2020, and again in 2024, I visited the Tucson Botanical Garden. Well, truth be told I spent hours in the unreal heat, suffering in the name of art! I fell in love with the cacti, and native plants of the area. So different from the PNW.

A couple years I did some black and white edits with some of the first batch, and I’ve been itching to do some colour edits. That’s how it is sometimes. I often revisit photos years after taking them. Some sit unedited entirely on hard drives. It’s how I roll I suppose. My brain decides things in strange ways.

Anyway, I’m in love with them, and foresee an editing rabbit hole in my near future.

As we slide into fall, here’s throwback to a more tropical place than Vancouver! Currently enjoying all the fall things…hot drinks, sweaters, the trees turning colour…but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t hop a plane to the sun in a hot minute!
