Up next on Friday night at Busters in Kanata was Kingston's own Mad Wet Sea bringing great original music to the stage!! With a lot of style & amazing music they held the crowd spellbound!! In all the time I lived in that area & covered the Kingston clubs, I never got to see these guys, and WoW did I miss out on a treat!! They play the Eastern Ont circuit, so grab a chance to catch them - you'll be happy that you did!! And a special Thank You for the lovely gifts they gave me - very much appreciated !! Horns Up!!

Kickstarting a night of amazing music was Ottawa's CHAOS!! They filled the room with great heavy metal much to the delight of the crowd!! They perform on the local circuit so be sure to catch them in action!!

Last Saturday night the Crew took a trip to The Bar in Brockville to catch the boys of Evil Creek in action!! The place was packed, the little tiny "stage" could barely hold them & the lighting was basically non-existent....but that didn't stop them from putting on one wicked show!! The dance floor was busy, folks were singing along having a great time!! Be sure to catch these guys at a club in the city and enjoy a night of amazing music!!

Up next last Sunday afternoon was NEW WORLD MEN bringing the very best of RUSH to the Nostalgia Music Festival Ottawa stage....and WoW did they bring it!!! Performing all the hits of these Canadian icons with the heart and soul of the original, they had the massive crowd cheering for more! If you're a RUSH fan (and who isn't?!?) you truly need to catch these guys in action & feel all the magic one more time!!

Up next at Nostalgia Music Festival Ottawa was local favorites KISSed bringing all the hits!! With the look, the great stage presence, and a lot of fun, they had everybody singing right along with them!! Being kinda "new" in the Ottawa scene, this was my first time seeing these guys and you can bet that I'll be catching their shows again, and so should you - everybody needs to get "KISSed"!!

The Saturday show at Nostalgia Music Festival Ottawa got kicked into high gear with AEROFORCE hitting the stage!! These guys are the #1 Aerosmith Tribute, and have the pedigree to prove it!! Note for note, playing all the hits with endless energy, they held the very large crowd spellbound with everyone singing along and having a great time in the sun! I've had the privilege of photographing them for several years & it's an honour to be their friend!! Simply a perfect way to kick off a day of incredible music!! Thanks for the awesome show my friends - until next time!!

Kickstarting a busy weekend of music with friends was the boys of The ACDC Live Tribute Show at Busters Bar & Grill in Kanata. With the looks & the moves they performed all the hits that we know and love they had the crowd
up dancing and singing along with them! Go & check them out & you'll see why nobody wanted this evening to end!!

Last Saturday I took a ride through the beautiful countryside to the Williamstown Fair to catch one of my favorite bands in action - the boys of COUNTRY ROCKS!! From country classics to Neil Young & beyond, from their opening note, they had the crowd singing along and dancing and having a great time! So when you're looking for a fun night out, make sure to take in one of their shows - they play venues all along the 401 corridor and up into the Ottawa area and beyond...their name doesn't lie...you'll have a great time!!

Spent last Sunday afternoon at the "Open Mic" at Mort's Pub, showcasing a lot of local talent including members of local bands!! Due to the weather, it had to be held inside, making for a great atmosphere! From solo artists, some accompanied by host Christoff, to a couple's duo, the afternoon was filled with a great variety of songs & styles much to the delight of the folks who just came to listen & enjoy. This happens every Sunday from 3:00 - 7:00, so check it out & see for yourself!!

Topping off an excellent night at Busters in Kanata on Friday was Patience Lost!! With outstanding vocals & excellent musicianship the dancefloor was a busy place with everyone having a great time!! There was even a birthday celebration complete with cake!! If you haven't already you really need to catch them in action at a club somewhere in the city - you'll be happy that you did!!
