I’m the owner and primary photographer at Jean Chartrand Photography. A Master Photographer of the Photographic Arts, I’ve attained my Master Photographer from the Photographic Arts designation in the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). I also have 7 National Accreditations f
rom the PPOC in the following photographic disciplines: Architecture, Fine Art, Feature Presentation, Wedding Story, Wedding Photojournalism, Wedding Environmental and Stock. The attention to detail and personal service that I give to each assignment has enabled me to create some Nationally Award Winning images. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph members of the Royal Family, Prime Ministers – past and present, members of the Canadian military, High Commissioners, Ambassadors and other dignitaries. Some of these include His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, the Right Honourable Pierre Elliot Trudeau, Lady Diana, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper. I’ve also worked for some notable companies and corporations such as the Bank of Canada, the Canadian War Museum, the Canadian Museum of History, Compass Group Canada, the Supreme Court of Canada, the Department of Foreign Affairs, Lotto Quebec, FCFA Canada, ISTP Canada, the Canadian Standards Association, the Museum of Nature, Pepsi Canada, Farm Boy Grocery, to name a few. I see each assignment as a chance to demonstrate my talent in composition and creativity in creating great imagery for my clients.
