As a photographer, I spend my days preserving milestones for other families.

Tonight, it was my turn.

My heart felt all the things.

Proud.
Grateful.
Emotional.

There he stood, no longer the little boy who used to hold my hand, but a young man standing on the edge of his future.

Watching Jett head off to prom with his beautiful girlfriend is a reminder that the little moments become the big memories before we even realize it. I keep asking myself, how did I get here so fast?

While a small part of me is sad that it arrived so quickly, the one thing that makes me feel better is knowing that some of the best chapters are still ahead.

So proud of you, Jett.
And you looked absolutely beautiful tonight, Trista❤️

At 50, I took a risk.

I spent $15k on self publishing a book because I knew this story needed to be shared.

I told a story that mattered to me.

And that story turned into something bigger than I ever imagined, a movement rooted in kindness, community, compassion, and purpose.

To every woman wondering if it’s “too late”…
it’s not.

You are not behind.
You are not done.
And your most meaningful chapter might still be waiting for you to be brave enough to begin it.

Please take it from me, don’t let fear of “what ifs” or others telling you you can’t. Don’t be on your death bed one day wondering what it would have been like. Just go for it.
