Of course, the lavender fields weren’t the real highlight of Flo’s day. 🐶

The second we hit the river walk, the pretty posing was forgotten and it was straight into the water. Apparently flowers are nice, but splashing through a muddy river is much more her style. 🪻🌊

And she was only getting started... 😂

A day out at Avalon Lavender Farm with my sister quickly turned into a photoshoot for her girl Flo - because she wasn’t about to let all that picturesque scenery go to waste. 💜📸

So naturally, we had to stop for a few photos among the flowers, where she was perfectly happy to steal the spotlight and look ridiculously cute while doing it. 🐶🪻

Very peaceful. Very serene. Very misleading considering Flo’s favourite part of the day is still to come... just wait until you see what she really came to Avalon for. 😂

When your sister and friend are getting a photo session, you can't just sit that one out. 🤷🏼‍♀️🐕

Cash joined in for a few portraits of his own while Trip and Molly celebrated their birthdays, and I'm so glad he did! ❤️

After seeing Cash shine outdoors in the past, it was so much fun to see him bring that same energy into an indoor session. 📸

Same sweet personality, same happy chaos - just a different setting. 🐾🐶

One of the things I love most about in-home sessions is getting to photograph dogs where they feel safest. 🥰

After taking the time to settle in, Rosie's curiosity slowly started to peek through.
She was still a little unsure, but we let her move at her own pace and celebrated the little moments along the way. 🎉🐶

Behind that big Cane Corso frame is such a sweet, gentle soul, and it was a privilege to capture that side of her. 🐕

Every positive experience helps build confidence, and I'm already looking forward to seeing hers grow with each session. 😍📸

Not every dog walks into a session ready to strike a pose - and that's perfectly okay. 🐶

We chose to do Rosie's session in the comfort of her own home, where she feels the safest. 💕📸

She was a little nervous when I first arrived, so we let her set the pace.
There was plenty of sniffing, a thorough inspection of the studio setup, and lots of patience (and treats) while getting her settled in. 🐕

Sometimes the most rewarding part of a session isn't the photos - it’s watching trust build one small step at a time. ❤️📷

A soft, quiet afternoon spent together with Bean and her mom. 🤍

We stepped outside for this one, because that’s where Bean always felt most like herself - in the grass, with the breeze moving through the flowers and everything a little softer around her.

There was no rush, just time to be together, to let her settle into a comfortable spot and to hold onto those small, quiet moments with her mom right there beside her. 🐾

A gentle goodbye in a space that felt soft, calm, and full of love. 💓

Because apparently “vacation” just means photographing different animals in another province 📸😂

Some of my favourite photos from our trip to New Brunswick this past summer - definitely spent more time crouched in the grass or balancing a tripod on a moving boat than actually relaxing
But I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve realized it’s often the quiet moments of just taking everything in that end up being my favourite part of these trips. 💖

I can’t believe I never shared this session from over a year ago. 🤯

This was originally Diamond's session 🐱
But Charlie clearly wanted in on the action 🐶

While Diamond kept things composed and collected throughout the session, taking everything in with her quiet presence, Charlie brought a very different kind of energy. 😂

Constantly moving, checking everything out, and finding his way into every frame he could. 🐕

Together they made this one of those sessions that was just as entertaining as it was beautiful to capture. 📸🥰

A little TBT to this September session with Sadie at Monora Park 🐾📸

Sadie spent the entire session doing exactly what hounds do best - following her nose absolutely everywhere it wanted to go. 🐕

Every direction had something more interesting than the last, and she was fully committed to investigating all of it. 😂 Between the constant sniffing, exploring every inch of the park, and one perfectly timed little wink, she made this session so much fun from start to finish. 🤩😜
