I had the opportunity to do my first ever fitness shoot. This incredibly beautiful and inspirational woman had lots of great videos on her Instagram but wanted some more still shots.

We had so much fun on this shoot , laughing, chatting and trying out wild poses.
Man this gal is strong , I was so impressed.
I am so pleased with the results and most importantly she loves them.
Thank you Catherine - CPT, Midlife Strength Coach for such an amazing experience.

Feeling extra blessed lately… and honestly, a little spoiled!

There is something SO special about having clients who come back year after year and trust me to capture all of life’s big (and sometimes chaotic )moments.

But what means even more to me is knowing that so many of you stayed loyal through it all—through COVID, through my cancer journey, and even through my most recent surgery. 🤍 You stuck by me, supported me, waited for me, and continued to trust me with your memories.

I’ve had the joy of watching your families grow, capturing new babies, milestones, crazy kids and pets, and all the little moments in between. And somewhere along the way, so many of you became more than clients—you became friends.

To every single person who has booked with me year after year, recommended me, checked in on me, or simply cheered me on… THANK YOU. 🥹❤️

I truly don’t take your loyalty for granted. I’m so incredibly grateful that I get to do what I love, and even more grateful that I get to do it for people who have stuck with me through the ups, downs, chaos, and everything in between.

Here’s to many more years of memories, laughter, beautiful photos… and bribing the kiddos with snacks. 😂📸🤍

A couple of weeks ago I took a road trip to Cultas Lake to photograph my dear friends family. It was hazy from wildfire smoke but we still managed to capture the love and laughter.
Love these pics and this family. A few of the family members were visiting from out of province and they were vacationing together .
it was so special to get photos of the little cousins together with their grandma and aunts and uncles.
Book those extended family shoots, it is so important to capture these memories.

Had a blast traipsing around Mount Pleasant with this gorgeous family. In Vancouver we are surrounded by oceans, mountains and forests but we also have some pretty dope urban settings. I am down to help bring your photoshoot vision to life. 📸

Eight years. One photograph. So many memories. ❤️

One of the greatest gifts of being a family photographer is getting to watch families grow.
I am so blessed to have so many clients who book with me year after year, or every other year. Because of that, I don’t just get to photograph their families ,I get the honour of watching their children grow up and being there for the milestones along the way.

Birthdays, new babies, graduations, family adventures… and all those little in-between moments that somehow become the big ones.

This family is the perfect example.
The first photo was taken about 8 years ago, and it remains one of my absolute favourite family photographs. It was completely candid and perfectly captured their personalities.

The boy on the right was SO done with having his picture taken.
The little girl is a total firecracker and had clearly reached her limit with her brothers.
And the boy on the left, the family jokester , thought the whole thing was absolutely hilarious.

So when I was photographing them recently, I asked the kids if they would recreate that photo with me.
And they did. ❤️

Look at how much children can change in just eight years! The faces get older, the legs get longer, the personalities evolve, but somehow, when you put the photographs side by side, you can still see those same little people.

The boy on the right was very happy to have his picture taken this time, the girl, still as feisty as ever and the boy on the left, still the family jokester.
This is why I believe so strongly in photographing your family through the years.

Because you don't really notice how quickly they're growing when you're living it every day.
Then one day you look at an old photograph and think, “How were they ever that little?”

As Ferris Bueller wisely said:
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

So stop. Look around. Take the picture.
And then take another one next year. ❤️
Someday, those photographs will be worth more than you ever imagined.
