August 21st @ exactly 10:52 43.75 seconds the ISS transited the Sun over Kingsville. The transit lasted less than a second. These were taken @ 500mm on a crop sensor Camera so it's the equivalent of 800mm. Been waiting a long time to try this, and everything cooperated today.

The daytime Moon with a Falcon 9 Rocket heading for impact. Tonight at 2:35 eastern time, one of Elon Musk's Falcon 9 Rockets is going to crash into the Moon. The image shows the area of impact. They are estimating the dust cloud to be 100 to 200 kilometers high into space. Maybe just enough to see it with a long lens.
