Travel | A little Canadian adventure 🇨🇦
It’s been a little quiet over here on my photography page lately, as I’ve been off on a little Canadian adventure with my family. We are back home with a renewed sense of awe for how BIG and stunning Canada really is.
Anyone who knows me knows that family time + travel is where I’m happiest. There’s just something about stepping away from the everyday routine, exploring somewhere new, and making memories together that last a lifetime. Feeling very fortunate to be able to do this.
We headed to the East Coast/Maritimes of our beautiful country, and wow… it did not disappoint. The beauty was unique from what we see in our day to day. There is so much history back east. Growing up surrounded by mountains and lakes on the West Coast will always be home, but if you haven’t experienced the East of Canada — take the trip.
I wouldn’t consider myself a landscape photographer by any means, but I wanted to share some of the images I captured along the way. These are a few that are meaningful to me — because they hold a little piece of our adventure.
My kiddos are getting older. Schedules are getting busier. Life seems to move faster every year, and I’m becoming increasingly aware that these opportunities to slow down and experience the world together won’t always be as easy to come by.
This trip was a beautiful reminder to make the time. Take the trip. Say yes. Document the little things.
There isn’t a ‘right’ age. There isn’t a ‘right’ time. There is only — right now.
