EPIC NEWS! 📣 I'm heading back to the waterfront to create more spectacular portraits of your pups at sunset.

If you missed this event last month, this is your chance to get your pup their very own epic portrait! We'll leave behind the grass and trees of our usual parks, and instead your pups will perch on rocks with an iconic Halifax bridge and skyline behind them 😍

This is a book-in-advance event, and since each pup will be pretty quick (5 min) you'll just choose the half-hour timeframe that works best and show up within that time.

This is happening at Alderney Landing, so it's right downtown Dartmouth and easily accessible for folks on both sides of the harbour!

I'm going to hope for some epic clouds for us that day, to make it even cooler 🤞 But either way, your dogs are gonna look AWESOME!

You're used to seeing dogs on this account, but I can assure you that I love all animals! And when I get the chance to photograph kitties, bunnies, bearded dragons, or parrots, I always jump at the opportunity!

Please meet Everett and Billie Jean (the teeny void, haha).

It's so much fun to hang out indoors and let your cats show me around their favourite spots in the house! We'll play with their toys, lounge in sun spots (just the cats, not me), and climb on all their favourite furniture.

If you've got indoor pets and were under the impression that I only photograph dogs... I will happily set the record straight. If there's an animal who has your heart, you deserve portraits of them, and I'd be thrilled to make that happen for you!

It's been a few years since I did an event like this, and when I suggested it recently it got a lot of interest. So let's do it!

This will be a morning session, since this wall gets some great morning light!

The location I chose in Dartmouth has a bunch of different graffiti tags all on the same wall, so you'll have a bunch of different colours and designs to choose from. I'm sure your dog's trademark colour will be found here somewhere 😉

Your chance to get beautiful portraits of you and your dog together, for a ridiculously low price! 💛

This Wednesday is National Dog Day, so book your spot for a mini session on the beach. The perfect way to celebrate your dog and document the beautiful, silly, adorable bond you share.

You'll get 5-10 minutes in front of the camera, but it doesn't need to be overly posed. It's actually more fun and realistic to have the photos be a little more interactive and candid! It shows your connection with each other.

I took my new wide angle lens for a test run the other day, and went for a walk along the Halifax waterfront. I met a few sweet pups and did some quick, mostly candid photos!

I feel like I want to do it again sometime, especially on a day with even more dogs! (it was pretty warm that afternoon, so I don't blame the pups for wanting to stay home with the A/C on)

Should I do more impromptu walks like this, asking random people if I can photograph their dogs? haha

It's time for you to be in the photos with your dog!! 💛 Wednesday is National Dog Day (Aug 26th) and it's the perfect time to make this happen.

We're heading to the beach for these portraits, since I'm noticing a lot of grass is looking yellow these days. But at the beach that doesn't matter - we'll just play in the sand! We're going to Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage.

As always with these one-day events, spaces are limited. You'll book a short session with your dog (5-10 minutes) and I've opened a few spots every half hour. So when you arrive you can just wait at a bit of a distance until I'm finished with the pups before you, and then I'll wave you over.

The plan is to get a few fun photos that show your bond with your dog, which may include them being their naturally silly selves rather than sitting perfectly for a photo, haha. And a few days later you'll get to view a small gallery of images so that you can select your favourite. One digital image is included with your $45 booking fee, with the option to purchase more once you see them!
