HUGE shoutout to Suja, our flight attendant from Honolulu to Vancouver (flight 1863) on June 13/14, 2026!

Of the five WJ flights I had taken in a two week period, Suja was the only one to ask if we’d like a free alcoholic beverage, since it was included with our upgraded “Plus” seats. Throughout the flight, her smile was infectious, her demeanour was hospitable, her aura was uplifting, and her customer care was outstanding.

Suja actually took the time to ask me if Vancouver was our final destination; I advised we were actually making the 12+ hour trip back to Nova Scotia. Shortly thereafter I fell asleep. Upon awakening just before landing, I saw a full white bag on my tray table. My daughter said that Suja dropped it off in hopes it would ease our long layover and flight back to Halifax. Inside the bag were several snacks - bars, mixed nuts glazed with Canadian maple syrup, oatmeal & honey bars, and .leclerc cookies.

Wow! 🤯

I never did have the opportunity to share my sincere gratitude with Suja. Should she ever happen to see this message: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! ❤️🙏🏻

Suja reminded me of the genuineness and warmth of WestJet flight attendants from several years ago, which unfortunately is infrequently experienced nowadays.

I hope you will take the time, WestJet, to honour this remarkable person.
