A+L are just the kind of people you want to celebrate.

The kind who are easy together, completely present and surrounded by people who very clearly adore them.
And their people? They understood the assignment.
They brought the good vibes, took every prompt I gave them and absolutely ran with it, and showed up ready to celebrate these two in the best possible way.

There was the emotional walk down the aisle and the handoff from dad that had me WEAK. The friend dancing her way down the aisle while tossing flower petals like it was quite literally her moment. The cheering, the laughing, the hugs, the packed dance floor. Just this constant carefree, joyful energy all day long.

I think what I loved most, though, was how much everyone genuinely seemed to love being there. No one was taking themselves too seriously. Everyone was present. Everyone was game. And everyone was just so incredibly kind.

The people you choose to surround yourselves with bring so much to the story of a wedding day, and I think these photos are such a perfect example of that.

A+L, you are very, very loved.

I left this one feeling really excited about next season.

The sweetest, most down-to-earth couple, their girl Rue, and an evening spent exploring a little piece of our beautiful Eastern Shore together. We wandered around, chatted, laughed, Rue did her thing, and somewhere in there we made some really beautiful photos.

I think this is why I love engagement sessions so much. I get to actually know my couples a little before the wedding day. How they are together, what makes them laugh, what feels like them. Without a timeline or anywhere else we need to be.

And lately, getting these little glimpses of the people I’ll be spending next wedding season with has me feeling pretty damn excited for what’s ahead. 💛

Before this day even began, I had a feeling it was going to feel like something from an old romance movie. There’s just something so timeless about the way these two love each other.

Their love is incredibly soft and sweet. There were so many quiet moments of tenderness throughout the day, but also these bursts of sheer joy that they simply couldn’t contain. Looking at each other in complete disbelief, saying, “You’re my husband!” and “You’re my wife!”. They were both just so genuinely excited to finally be married.

The whole day carried this joyful, youthful energy. He was always picking her up, spinning her around and making her laugh. It all felt so uniquely them.

The Rasenbergs. Couldn’t be happier for these two. 🥂

V+J // 08.01.26

I’m not sure I’ve ever photographed a wedding that felt quite this wholesome. At one point that morning, the mother of the bride quite literally had to put herself in a timeout because the emotions were getting to be too much. And I was right there with her.

I’ve always paid close attention to the relationships my couples have with their parents. You can feel when a family genuinely loves one another, and there was simply no missing it here. It was in the way both sets of parents loved their kids, but also in the friendship the two families had formed with each other. It was in the way the bride’s grandfather looked at her, and in the way she loved him right back.

Everywhere I turned, there was another relationship I wanted to keep watching. And if that didn’t already tell you everything you needed to know about her heart, the bride had also handwritten more than 70 letters —one for every single guest to read when they arrived at the reception.

Nothing about this day felt surface-level. The hugs were real hugs. The tears came easily. The smiles and laughter filled every room. It was all so incredibly beautiful to witness and be welcomed into.

As I was leaving, I said to one of their friends, “Loved people love people.” And really, it is that simple. You didn’t have to look very far to see it here.

F+B // 07.25.26

This was my first time photographing a wedding that embraced Jewish traditions, and I found myself so drawn to the meaning behind each one.

One moment that really stood out to me was watching the bride circle the groom seven times beneath the chuppah. Such a simple, beautiful tradition symbolizing the beginning of a complete and blessed life together.

Then came the breaking of the glass. A tradition rich with meaning, reminding us that even in our happiest moments, joy and sorrow can exist together, and that marriage is something to protect, nurture and never take for granted. The “Mazel Tov!” that followed was such an incredible way to kick off the celebration.

As for F+B they’re exactly the kind of people you hope to spend a Saturday with. Effortlessly laid back, completely themselves, and somehow always saying the exact same thing at the exact same time (like, “Exactly!”) They complement each other so naturally that you can’t help but smile watching them together. They’re kind, thoughtful and the kind of people who make everyone around them feel at ease.

It was such an honour to witness these traditions for the first time and to document a day that was so rich in meaning, family and celebration.

Mazel Tov, F+B! 🤍

A slow summer evening with K+T. 💛

07/22/2026

A tiny peek into last night’s engagement session with K+T.

The place where he proposed. A cottage that’s been in her family for nearly 100 years. A century of summers, stories and a place where generations have celebrated life’s biggest moments...all leading to this next big chapter for K+T.

Being there just felt like home. 🤍

Captured the sweetest engagement session on Friday with K+T.

Then, completely on a whim, I switched my camera over to video. I came home, pieced together this tiny little film, and I haven’t stopped smiling since.

Sometimes trying something new reminds you why you fell in love with creating in the first place.

We’ll see where this goes. 💛
