So lately I’ve started doing PAY WHAT YOU WANT at my market shows. It’s a bit of a gamble, letting your art go for whatever the buyer wants to give and honestly I was a bit nervous. What I do love about it, is seeing the joy in people when they realize that the art can be theirs, at any cost. Pros of Pay What You Want:
-Art is accessible to everyone
-It brings people to the booth and allows them to look at my other art
-allows me create without stress
-moves old inventory out and makes room for new creations (although now it’s all new art)
-put my art on your walls
