First day of school, time to start thinking about school portraits!
Might I offer an alternative to rushed, impersonal line up in the school gym?
Stop by the Beaumont Community Centre on September 26th and let your child's personality shine with a more personal and relaxed portrait experience. Sessions are FCFS, no appointment needed. Only on SATURDAY, I will not be there Sunday.

Have their portrait taken on a lovely fall scene or a classic neutral for a more traditional school portrait feel.
Session fee is minimal, and you are welcome to purchase as much or as little as you'd like after seeing the proof files.
Digital printing files or printed products (including traditional school package sizes) are available.

I don't want to but here we are, 1 month from my first fall market so the leaves are surely to follow.

The Sea to Sea Handmade Auction opens on the 18th and I have a pack of 10 Button Magnets (or Pins) up for grabs, starting bid is 30% off retail. This is a great opportunity to have some custom magnets made for your child's locker or some fun pins made for their backpack!

Custom orders for pins and magnets are available year round, however orders will be EXTREMELY limited in November and December due to the number of portrait sessions I have to edit and deliver. If you are looking for some fun, personalized Christmas gifts I highly recommend ordering before October to ensuring the quickest turn around (approximately 1 week).

I can't believe the market is tomorrow already!

I've packed the neutral backdrop (from the poster) but also a white locker backdrop; hopefully I will have both available tomorrow, it will just depend on how much room I have to set up. Sessions are only $20 and you will receive the high-res digital of your favourite portrait!
Within 1 week of the market you will receive a private gallery link with the best of each portrait, you will pick the one you want delivered.
Sessions are per person but if you would like sessions for multiple children we will gladly get a portrait of them together as well as their individual headshots. A copy of the group portrait will be placed in each child's gallery for ease of ordering. If you would like additional prints/products they will be available in the proof gallery - lots of sales available but there are no obligations.

Tomorrow I'll be at the Gold Bar Community Hall for the Learning Lane Expo from 10am-4pm. Come pick up some small prints...

Tomorrow I'll be at the Gold Bar Community Hall for the Learning Lane Expo from 10am-4pm.

New event added. I will be at the Back to School Learning Lane Expo on August 9th.

I will have a small table of gift items (no large prints this time). Get a new necklace for that first day of school outfit, a keychain for your kiddo's first house key, some postcards so they can keep in touch with the friend who moved over the summer, or some fun pins to decorate their backpack and magnets for their new locker.

I'll also have a simple backdrop set up for school portraits so if you're often left disappointed with school photos please set aside a little time to come visit me at the expo. I'll make sure to get a beautiful, genuine portrait you'll be thrilled to share with family and friends.

You can now order your own custom magnets and no, they don't have to be photos from sessions with me. I'm opening this up to all clients, any photos ~ yours or mine. Family photos, pictures of your child's artwork, your business logo, photos from your child's summer sports - there are so many possibilities!

I have 3 sizes and they can have magnet or pin backings.
Pricing for a set of 5 listed, however any amount can be accommodated, just reach out for a quote.
Shipping across Canada is available or pick up in SE Edmonton; average turn around right now is 1 week.
