One little hand tucked under his chin, and Mom’s hand gently holding him close. 🤍

To anyone else, it may look like a simple touch. But for a newborn, Mom’s touch is one of the first things that feels familiar, safe and comforting.

And then came that tiny smile. 🥹

Maybe it was just perfect timing. Maybe he simply felt completely at ease. Either way, we’re so glad we caught it.

These are the little details we love about newborn sessions. Not just how tiny they are, but the connection that is already there from the very beginning.

The ideal time for those sleepy, curled-up newborn poses is usually within the first couple of weeks. But every baby is different, and being a little past that window doesn’t mean you’ve missed your chance to capture this beautiful stage.

We photograph older babies too, and we plan each session around your baby’s age, comfort and personality.

We saw the idea. We tested it. We made it our own.

For newborn sessions, a beautiful setup is only one part of the process. We always want to make sure the baby is comfortable, supported and safe before we move forward.

For this setup, we tested everything first, adjusted the details, used a stand-in, and only then brought our little client into the scene.

And the final result? Exactly the soft, dreamy look we had imagined.

We loved photographing this sweet couple as they wait for their little one to arrive. The gorgeous greenery, that beautiful red dress, and all those little moments between them made this session extra special.

One day, these photos will be a reminder of what life looked and felt like just before they became parents. ❤️
