A few years ago, they came to Banff and left engaged!

This time, they came all the way back from the UK and left married. 🥹

And somehow, their day felt like the sweetest mix of adventure and home!

There were handwritten notes from the people they love, video messages sent from across the world, and so many thoughtful little details woven throughout the day. The kind that made it feel like everyone who couldn’t physically be there was still celebrating right alongside them.

After making it official, we piled in with our private driver and spent the rest of the day wandering through the mountains… stopping at Bow Lake, heading up to Peyto, and breaking out the cutest little lunch boxes along the way 🥹

No rushing from one wedding tradition to the next. Just good food, big mountains, a handful of their favourite people and plenty of time to actually soak in the fact that they were MARRIED!!

There’s something extra special about coming back to the place where one chapter started to begin an entirely new one 🤍

Sunrise first looks, cake for breakfast, and a whole lot of Jasper magic in between 🤍

These two started their wedding day slowly.. just the two of them, meeting by the lake as the morning light started hitting the mountains. They shared their first look, cut into their wedding cake (because there are absolutely no rules about when you’re allowed to have cake), and spent the morning wandering around Pyramid Lake together!

Then, after having those quiet hours completely to themselves, they met up with their closest family to make it official

A little bit private elopement, a little bit micro-wedding, and proof that your wedding day really can be whatever you want it to be 🥹🤗

And personally, I’m now very into wedding cake for breakfast!! 🤌

Sunrise in Jasper just does something different. ✨

A quiet lake, mountains catching that first bit of morning light, private vows with their closest people beside them… and then wandering off together to explore while the rest of the world was still waking up!

There’s something I’ll always love about sunrise elopements. The stillness. The empty trails. Watching the mountains slowly turn gold. It makes an already intimate day feel like you’ve somehow managed to steal an entire corner of the Rockies for yourselves.

And these two absolutely leaned into it — from an emotional ceremony by the water to hiking up for those BIG Jasper views. No rushing through a checklist. Just getting married, taking it all in, and making a whole morning out of it 😍

Worth the early alarm? Every. Single. Time. 🤌✨

I think we need to talk about blue hour more. Because golden hour gets all the attention, but this?! 😮‍💨

After a full day of getting ready separately, a first look, private vows and celebrating with their closest family, we headed off for one last little adventure together!

By then, the nerves were gone. The ceremony was over. Everyone could exhale a little.

And the mountains had shifted into that deep, cool, almost cinematic light that only sticks around for a minute!

A very good reminder that you don’t have to chase golden light for your photos to feel magical. Sometimes staying out just a little bit longer is where the good stuff happens 🤌

Imagine telling your family you’re all going to the Canadian Rockies for the trip of a lifetime... and coming home married 🤍

Rebecca and David travelled all the way from Ireland to Jasper to exchange vows surrounded by their 10 closest family and friends!

What followed was more than a wedding day. It was an experience. An adventure. The start of their marriage wrapped into a once-in-a-lifetime trip with the people they love most

There were tears during private vows, mountain views that barely looked real, and the kind of laughter that echoes across a lake (seriously, there was so much laughing my cheeks hurt) 🥹

Because sometimes the best wedding days aren’t the ones with the biggest guest lists or the most elaborate timelines.

Sometimes they’re the ones where you stand beside a lake in the Canadian Rockies, look around at your favourite people and think,

‘I can’t believe this is real life.’
