How many hours of photography do you need for your wedding? For most couples, I recommend 8 hours. That covers the whole day, from getting ready to the dance floor, without anyone rushing. If your budget is tight, 5 hours is my minimum, and you’d skip getting ready photos and the first look.

Tip: build buffer time into your timeline for portraits. Rain or a late ceremony shouldn’t eat into your couple photos.
