Amy & Austin’s dreamy wedding on the beautiful and quaint Denman Island was certainly one to remember as it was filled with so much JOY!

I spent the weekend celebrating their love, getting to know their people and even spending the morning going for a swim at the lake! It truly was the most quintessential West Coast wedding!

So many thoughtful details went into this day and I cannot wait to share more. Thank you so much for having me out to be a small part in your big beautiful love story!

Marika & Nick’s beautiful wedding at the iconic Hatley Castle was certainly one for the books!

Growing up in Victoria, I always dreamed of photographing a wedding here. I remember walking these grounds as a kid and thinking it was one of the most beautiful places I’d ever been, literally out of a fairytale. So to come back all these years later and photograph a day like this felt pretty surreal 🥹

And truly, I couldn’t have imagined a more intentional, sweet and wildly in love couple to have the honour of documenting their story.

I’ll never get over getting to step into peoples lives for a day and document the way they love each other. I feel pretty lucky that this is my job 🤍

If washing your face is your favourite part of the day this one’s for you ✨

I’ve been using for a long time now and in my mid-30s I care way more about consistency and quality than anything else when it comes to good skincare routine!

What I love the most is it’s clean medical-grade—so the ingredients are actually doing something but it still feels gentle and really supportive on my skin. bonus: it’s Canadian 🤍

A few of my go-to’s:

Purifying Gel Cleanser — gets everything off without that tight, stripped feeling (and oil-free)

Ultimate Boost Serum — recently added this in and WOW… especially the morning after retinol, it just brings my skin back to life

Retinol 0.5 — a few nights a week and over time you really see the difference in texture + clarity

AluminEye — brightens, smooths, helps with puffiness… basically makes me look more awake than I feel 😅

HydraDew — SO soft, packed with peptides and really locks in that hydrated, smooth feeling

Clear Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 42 — lightweight and a non-negotiable for me ☀️

A couple extras I also love:

MicroDerm Polish — especially with the dry Alberta weather, a good scrub is key. This one leaves my skin feeling so smooth without overdoing it

Bright & Clear Solution — amazing for revitalizing your complexion and bringing back that brightness
