An experience I’ll never forget 🪸🇦🇺

Seeing this landscape from above felt completely surreal. We flew over the Whitsundays and Heart Reef from Airlie Beach with Fly Australia and it was 100% worth it. Watching Leo admire the scenery and snap photos was such a core memory 🥹

A fun fact: Heart Reef was first spotted by a local pilot in 1975, and because it’s a protected coral formation the only way to truly see its iconic heart shape is from above!

There’s something about seeing one of the world’s seven natural wonders from this perspective that reminds you just how incredible Mother Nature is 🌏

if I could go back and tell my younger self about the places we’d see, the memories we’d make, the family we’d build@and the business we’d grow, I know she’d be so damn proud.

sometimes I get so caught up in what’s next that I forget to look around at what’s already here.

the next deadline, the next goal, the next thing to work towards. there’s always something. the pressure makes it so hard sometimes that I can’t just be in the moment.

but I don’t want to spend my life constantly chasing and worrying. I want to achieve goals and build a life I’m proud of but I also want to live the one I have made now.

the older I get, the more I realise that peace is priceless, time is precious, health is a privilege and the present is all we really have.

one of the most beautiful things about travelling is how humbling it is. how it reminds you just how big this world is, how much there is to see and truly what a privilege it is to experience it — to be here, healthy, with the people you love.

I want to be in these moments, big and small.

because one day, I know I’ll look back on this chapter and wish I could step into it just one more time.

We decided to leave Byron Bay and head south to a spot I was really excited to explore 🦘🌅

📍Look At Me Now Headland!

This place was SO beautiful, I felt like I was transported somewhere completely different. The coastline, the views, the wild eastern grey kangaroos just hanging out. There were several baby joeys and oh gosh 🥹 were they ever cute!

It’s a pretty easy little loop walk with some incredible views out over the ocean and we were lucky enough to spot whales and dolphins!

Something I didn’t know before visiting was that this headland holds deep cultural significance to the local Gumbaynggirr people. Back in 1989, over 5,000 people rallied in Coffs Harbour to protect this area from development, which is pretty incredible to think about.

Another little spot to add to your list if you’re travelling along this part of the Australian east coast! Ps — it took me the entire drive back to Byron to make this reel 😆

Imagine getting married at a 400-year-old estate in the UK…..

Well, Ariane & Sam did just that, celebrating their love at the beautiful Soughton Hall with a small group of their closest family and friends, tucked away amongst the countryside of Cheshire and North Wales.

A place like SH really does make you feel like you’ve stepped into another time! All of the little details, the history, the grounds, the character! It feels like the walls have lived many lives before you which creativity brought me so much excitement! It was such a special setting for a wedding that felt so deeply personal to these amazing humans.

The day brought historic temperatures as a heatwave swept through much of Europe and surprised us all. But despite the weather (and the fact that by the end of the day we were all more sweaty than we’d like to admit), no love was lost and we all had such a great time!

There’s something pretty special about experiencing a wedding somewhere completely different from home. To step into a place with so much history, photograph a day that feels so uniquely theirs and be welcomed so fully into the experience is something I won’t take for granted, nor will I ever forget it 🥹

Ariane & Sam, thank you so much for trusting me with this day and for bringing me along for the ride. I’ll always hold this one close to my heart. 🤍

Amy & Austin’s dreamy wedding on the beautiful and quaint Denman Island was certainly one to remember as it was filled with so much JOY!

I spent the weekend celebrating their love, getting to know their people and even spending the morning going for a swim at the lake! It truly was the most quintessential West Coast wedding!

So many thoughtful details went into this day and I cannot wait to share more. Thank you so much for having me out to be a small part in your big beautiful love story!

Marika & Nick’s beautiful wedding at the iconic Hatley Castle was certainly one for the books!

Growing up in Victoria, I always dreamed of photographing a wedding here. I remember walking these grounds as a kid and thinking it was one of the most beautiful places I’d ever been, literally out of a fairytale. So to come back all these years later and photograph a day like this felt pretty surreal 🥹

And truly, I couldn’t have imagined a more intentional, sweet and wildly in love couple to have the honour of documenting their story.

I’ll never get over getting to step into peoples lives for a day and document the way they love each other. I feel pretty lucky that this is my job 🤍

If washing your face is your favourite part of the day this one’s for you ✨

I’ve been using for a long time now and in my mid-30s I care way more about consistency and quality than anything else when it comes to good skincare routine!

What I love the most is it’s clean medical-grade—so the ingredients are actually doing something but it still feels gentle and really supportive on my skin. bonus: it’s Canadian 🤍

Purifying Gel Cleanser — gets everything off without that tight, stripped feeling (and oil-free)
