🌸 A little late for cherry blossom season, but too pretty not to share. 🌸

One of my favourite things about booking a session is that sometimes we get a little extra time to be creative.

Jessica had just finished a mother sons session and was already all dressed up, so we took advantage of these beautiful cherry blossoms and captured a few portraits just for her.

And honestly... why not?

No kids to wrangle. No pressure. Just a chance to slow down, have some fun, and celebrate this season of life for yourself. 🤍

Also, can we take a moment for these blossoms?! Every year they show up for what feels like five minutes and then disappear again. I’m already counting down until next spring. 😍

Some of my favourite parts of the day are the quiet moments during bride and groom portraits. No distractions. No timeline. Just a few minutes for my couples to slow down, be together, and soak it all in.

Courtenay & Nick absolutely nailed the balance between elegant and fun. Between the gorgeous architecture at the Legislature grounds, their amazing bridal party, and the way they couldn’t stop smiling at each other, this was such a fun day to photograph.
