One of the things that really stood out in Helen and Vincent’s wedding was how they wove their traditions into their day with intention and purpose, making space for the things precious to them. Helen’s cultural attire and their jewelries beautifully represented the tradition they both shared, making them more than just wedding details. They brought that part of their story to life.

David somehow managed to act completely normal while hiding a ring in his pocket, and we still smile thinking about the second Yanzhi realized what was happening. They celebrated with faux ch*****ne by the lake as the reality of being newly engaged slowly settled in. ⁠

Fall showed up beautifully for Kaileigh and Ryley’s wedding. The leaves had turned golden, the air was cool, and the mountains felt a little calmer after the busy summer months. Their intimate fall wedding felt like the perfect excuse to slow down and soak it all in. When people think of elopement sessions, they usually picture mountain peaks, but Haley and Dan went a different direction. Instead of the Rockies, they chose the beaches and rainforests of Tofino. One moment, they were wandering beneath towering trees where everything felt quieter and a little more hidden away. The next, they were walking along the shoreline with the ocean stretching endlessly beside them. ⁠

Some weddings just need an extra day to be fully enjoyed.

Gabby and Bill stretched their wedding celebration over two days in Banff National Park, giving themselves the freedom to enjoy each part of it without feeling rushed. On the first day, the sun showed up for them, and we chased golden light, taking sunset photos, and soaking in the excitement of what was still to come.

The next day looked completely different. The sunshine was gone, replaced by rain, but the heart of the day stayed the same. Surrounded by the people who mattered most to them, they exchanged vows, shared long hugs, happy tears, and the kind of laughter that finds its way into meaningful moments. Two completely different days, and a celebration that felt intentional from beginning to end.
